Im a new grower and i was wondering what are some signs that a plant is ready to be harvested?

well you normally flush 2 weeks before harvesting. if your strains flowering is 12 wks flush at 10wks, but if you dont know what your flowering time is then i say start to flush when you see the trichs with a mag and some of them start to turn amber i'd say when 5-10% are turning amber. goodluck dude and happy grow
that's sounds like a great way to harvest a horribly immature plant. check out fdd's harvest tutorial. I like to wait till the bottom of the buds start to die and brown out but that is my personal general reference and not a complete truth.

thanks for acknowledging my skills. 95% of plants I've seen are not done with 70% dead hairs 30% live hairs. I'm sure you grow different plants than I do but in my experience that is a horrible way to harvest. That, I harvested for a heady high bullshit is just code for my weed sucks compared to yours lol sativas=heady indicas=couch lock. why not just grow the right strain for desired effect instead of an immature indica for the speedy sativa effect?

Flushing is simply giving the plant water instead of nutes. It will help to clense the plant and remove the chemical taste as well encourage it to burn even and not go out. (Smoking a joint of unflushed weed does not work well. )
