When to pollinate an autoflower?

How old are the plants and how long have you had them on 12/12?
I've had them for a month, and they are autoflowering so I have them on 18/6, and they'll be that way until the finish.

6 or so weeks to make a seed so pollinate after 2 weeks and harvest around 60 day. I did that with mine and got about 100 really nice healthy seeds.

i dont know who it was that said to pollinate second week
cause autos start to flower around 3 weeks
the secret is to leave the seeds to mature whis is 4 to 6 weeks but i always go the full 6 and stil have a few inmatures
im no know it all so i can only tell you what i do
that is pollinate the lower branch and leave that on the plant till maturity
or grow two [plants and pol the whole plant one for smoke
but whichever of the two i chose the smoke gets second billing to the seeds
if smoke no good cause seeds had to mature so be it
you must have your priortys strait when it comes to seeds and autos

Seed companies create these plants with specific crosses which form an F1 seed, taking two F1 seeds and crossing will create an F2 seed IBL (inbreed line) which will have a larger phenotype variation and will lose some of the hybrid vigor. It's going to be a crap shoot with what you get from your planned cross, if you really like the plant then you should clone it (which I'm not sure you can do with autos) or buy more seeds from the same company.

autos can be cloned all mary plants can sum harder then others no since in cloneing a auto
it would have to be about 4 weeks to be big enough to give up a clone and if you took one it would take two weeks for roots to gro now mother and daughter to flower together and start to die together
atuos start to die after flower done cant keep so whats the purpose
what i used to do was seed runs a strain not crosses when i first started i fell in love wit diesel ryders i did two seed runs wit no problem all plants were great had about 3 phenos all good one great
auts are ideal for seed runs not clones just do auto to auto only all will be fine
listen to all and thank them then do whats best for you and your setup
ekperiment you will always learn sumtin -if nutin els what not to do again

Really late on this but autoflowering plants can be clones but it is pointless to do so. Autoflowering strains have a "predetermined genetic lifespan" so if you didn't harvest it would still die eventually.
That being said if you cloned an auto te clone would be the same age and MATURITY so when the mother flowers so will the clone. And when the mother does so will the clone.

pollinate around week 5-6 and let the plant run until week 11 -12 before harvest dry and cure the buds then pull the seeds
at 3 weeks no auto is flowering
let me put it this way when a photo shows preflower is it flowering ? no ofcourse not its still in veg
same with a auto
