Hey guys!
Doing great so far. Harvested my outdoor plant (in 2 harvests, a week and a half a part). Ones in a jar curing and the other is hanging. Got like 7 grams max but it was still fun! :)

ANYWAY

My indoor plant is doing great too. Tomorrow is week 3 of flower and I’ve seen lots of stretch (almost doubled in size) and the nodes coming from the lower branches that are now at the top are really stretchy. My main tops are getting big too so I’m worried theyll be too heavy with full buds.

I’m wondering if I should/need to support these now or in the near future and how I should do it?
I’ve looked at a couple ways online and have some ideas but would like some advice.
It was hard to get good pictures so if ya need more I can always take em
Any helps appreciated, thanks guys!
Much love and happy growing

I wish i had trimmed most of those lower, lankier bud sites now in hindsight. Once they start gaining some weight they have a tendency to just kind of flop everywhere, bending/breaking the stems.

I personally bought some plant yoyos to assist with keeping my branches up. (At least the larger colas) They work well enough provided you're gentle with them.

So should I take off those lower branches? The only real budsites are right at the top, the branch is like 4-5 inches long. There’s so many though.. and would it stress the plant since I’m in flower already?
Look at super cropping in flower. Need to start if it's an option you choose.
im gonna try super cropping on my next grow for sure :) This is my first grow though and I want to just finish it without doing to much stuff.

For the future it's handy to install a trellis and let the plants grow through it. Then the buds are supported by the trellis. Hortitrellis is the brand I like. Don't get the string stuff it's stretchy and sheds fibers in your buds. You can see trellis in action in my grow thread linked in my signature.

I mostly just plant wire tie the main big cola to bamboo sticks then wrap a long wire loosely around the whole bottom of floppy branches to hold them all up. I really need to quick slackin and get a good trellis though

Support buds when they start to fall over. You can use a variety of methods. I just use bamboo stakes when I need to support the massive cola's I grow. :bigjoint:
