When to switch to flowering nutes?

I definitely don't know what I'm doing Fresno, so I'm just gonna leave it alone. Lol. Thanks for the heads up though. I'm just gonna stick to my BB.
If you want to add something to the mix. just add liquid seaweed extract. It makes the buds nice and frosty

I'm gonna be buying quite a few things it seems. Lol. It's good though, cause when I start my cab grow in a couple months, I will already have a stockpile of goodies. I fucked up when I first started on RIU and never did a grow journal for my outdoor grow (stupid inlaws slow ass desktop), but this one, I'm definitely journaling. But yeah, I'm gonna see if I can find some of that liquid seaweed extract and definitely getting some molasses. Question though...With all this stuff that I'm gonna be feeding them, is there some kind of cut-off time? I know flushing can fuck up your plants, but isn't there a time to stop all nutrients before harvesting? Maybe the last week and let the soil dry up? I never had this problem with my indoor grows. My cousin helped me with all that shit, and he pretty much did most of the upkeep. I wanna make sure I have the right knowledge.

The standard is to cut everything and only feed water for the last 2 weeks before harvest. I would say the last 7-10 days though.....that is more than enough flushing imo

Also you can buy seaweed extract at like HD, Lowes, or Orchard's

I have seen a guy who only flushes the last 5 days before harvest......smooth smoke, burns to white ash, and he said it tasted great.....He made a video smoking a bowl out of the bong just to show everybody that the bud didn't crackle or burn to black ash when he blazed it. Pretty good for a 5 day flush if you ask me.......I might do 5 day flushes once I have some more experience.

The girls are doing great.. Right now they get a 5-1-1 Alaskan fertilizer every other watering and sandwiched between the store bought nutes they get my own seaweed/Fish gury compost/lobster body tea. I don't let it get to rich but its great stuff and free which is good too. I also have a bottle of some sort of neptune food. Not sure of the NPK breakdown but I'm gonna use it just cause I have it.
:leaf:
I guess right now they are between light and feathery and popcorn nuggets. I will wait a couple of weeks and then use up two bottles of Tiger Bloom Blossom Builder. Not sure of the NPK breakdown of that from where I sit but I know it says " X-Strength " on the bottle which confuses the hell out of me. I mean what the hell does X-Strength mean. It's still 90% freakin water and it's still a tablespoon per gallon. I think they are selling me a load of shit cause if it says X-Strength on the bottle it must mean sumpin. Sorry, I just hate being sold.

I'll flush for a week or two but my old taste buds can't tell the difference. It looks like when to switch is as much personal preference as anything. I have never had any trouble with over-nuting. I don't fert them to young and build up to full strength in NO time. I think I could feed them even more and the only drawback would be the cost. Any trouble with molasses and critters outdoors??

I bet I could plant them in my compost and they would go from start to finish with nothing except the teas I make. Pretty proud of my compost/soil. :D If you have the room compost. That's all the big guys do. I feel closer to God knowing I have all the seaweed, gury and turkey turd I want to carry. Ha Ha That shit stinks when it is young. cheese. Stoned and rambling again..WTF:D:D

Haha My plans in my planting bed received zero veg nutes. I have been giving flower nutes just to increase yield. They don't really NEED it though. Compost is fanastic. Molasses can attract insects outdoors. And animals as well.

Ha Ha.. Your right as rain Fresno. We don't need nutes we just buy them. They may be of some help and I will still use them but WTF. Congrats on saving your money.
