When To Switch?

hey guys.. just had a question.
when do i switch my lights to 12/12?
ive heard some do it when they see preflowers?
or some do it when they feed nutes for flowering.. which one is it?

Hi bro!
Mine have just started pre flowering and there 4 weeks old in veg, various people say they stretch to double/triple the size when you switch them depending on the strain...i fucked up a bit in the beginning with PH an feeding isues, gonna let them get to around 2ft and switch! Hope this helps!!

hey thanks for the response.. im at close to a 2 month veg.
space isnt an issue as i have a 5x5x7 tent..

but im saying is, when do i flip it to 12/12?
when i start to see preflowers or the day i feed em flower nutes?

Id say pre flowers mate, make the switch then go to your flower nutes after that. I wouldnt feed them flower nutes until you have switched. This is my first time also but ive been reading and reading and reaaaaaading for ages before i jumped into it! Good luck brother

You can switch whenever you want to. It depends on how big of a plant you want and how fast your looking to harvest. I know lots of growers have good success starting at 12/12 from seed. Personally, if I had the equipment, I'd go a year then flip, but that's because I like seeing them get BIG.
