When to Transplant Seedlings

I am new to growing and would just like some advice as to when my seedlings will be ready to Transplant? ya i was looking into 1 gal or 2 gal pots so i could take up less space and wait for them to show thier sex...... witch pot will be best and big enough to get them to that life stage?

Some of those look a bit stretched mate but yeh transplant now would be good for them and around 5-6 ltr pots should be fine until sex shows,I started off doing it that way and no dramas. GL

it depends on how long you plan to veg. Personally, i start in solo cups, then 1 gal until the plant is almost a foot tall, then i transplant into 3 gal pots to flower. This is with my indica plants that flower with 8 weeks. I try to use a gallon of soil per month growth. Hope that helps.....

yes that helps thanks for your opinion as well, i love multiple correct answers :)

my personal rules of thumb for seedling transplants are:

- For clones, transplant once I see several roots popping out the bottom of the plug
- For plants started from seed, I transplant once that first true set of leaves is out. (usually 1-2 weeks from germ)

The seedlings you have pictured are plenty ready to be transplanted. 8)
