When to transplant

I have searched through the forums and haven't found an answer to my question. If I missed it, please point me in the right direction so I can read some more.

Anyway, is there a better time of day to transplant? As in, right after lights on or mid-way through my 18 hr cycle, or...? Does it even matter? I don't want to over-stress the plant and lose another one. I have already lost one from my cat ripping three seedlings completely out of the soil. It's my first grow with bag seeds so I can learn but still, losing a baby sux!

If someone has any advice on this or can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

i do it right when the lights turn on
Thanks! I prepped the new pot today and flushed it with some 5-8-5 liquid fertilizer. The soil should be nice and ready for a new baby in the morning. I hope I don't screw this up because this the only one the cat didn't pull out. I would like to have at least one that wasn't stressed all to hell as a seedling.
