When to use fertilizer

I have my clones rooted and placed in larger pots. I have them placed in a grow room. It was been 7 days since I transplanted. I was thinking of starting a mild amount of fertilizer.
  • I was wondering when I should start using fertilizer's.
  • Also what should I have the temp set at? I was thinking 80 deg.
When I transplanted in larger pot , I added 1L of water and Have been misting everyday. My moisture gauge is indicating OK levels.

  • Is there anything else I should be doing?

Today is 8 days and the Moisture level has finely dropped to about half down the gauge, so another few day's ,I guess. But keep in mind that I mist them everyday.

you need to do more than mist them. they need to be watered ( no nutes yet) once you can put your finger in the soil a couple inches and it`s dry they need water. try and get temps down to mabee mid to low 70`s
no nutes till they are about 3 weeks if they look healthy.

Thanks Guys for the Info.

Basically I will follow the same steps has with seedlings. Accorrding to my moisture gauge, I had to water again today. It seems that I get 5-8 days per 400 ML of water. In 3 weeks I will start with half strenght and gradually work up to full strenght fertilizerover another week.

I agree with three weeks however keep in mind that it depends on your soil. I used a nuteless soil, waited three weeks, started Fox farms, and follow the schedule from there. Other than a few minor thing early, I have had 0 nute issues so far. I'm in week 3 of veg. Hope it helps.

how tall are these little plants and are the leaves droopy or mostly pointing up?

They are cutting and Tops. The cutting are very poor condition, they are working hard to survive. There are very small shouts at the base where the node connected to the stem. The leaf is a light green to yellow in colour. Half of the tops that I cloned and potted are doing excellent. The other half are slowly dying, I checked them today and most of the bottom leave are now dead and the last few on top are light green to yellow. The yellowing is getting worst.

I have been using the same water I used for the seedings a few month ago, so I don't think the soil is the problem. The temp in the room are at 75-80 deg. The water is from a local spring, which I used before.

  • Need Help, What do you think my problem could be?

how well were they rooted before you transplanted. how did you clone pete pucks, straight into soil? sounds like some just didn`t root. has this water been sitting a while, because the stuff is only good for a few days . it looses o2 without some kind of airation.

I thought they were rooted fairly good, app 1 inch of root out through the Sack on the puck. The plants that weren't rooted real well died in a day or two. These only had app half an inck or so of root. Has for the water, it sat for app 1 day, just long enought to get to room temp.

So your thinking that the root system is the problem? I guess it is possible that the young roots could'nt take the transplant.

Its a learning curve for me, I still have several that is doing good. I will try to baby the rest and hope for the best.

Thanks

it`s har to give a definate answer without pic`s. thier probably going to be ok. wait till they are about 14 days or so then give them a 1/4 mix of nutes. what nutes do you have?
