When to use molasses?

hey everyone! i hope you're all having a great grow season so far!

i was doing al little reading and i came along a thread that said to mix in a table spoon of molases for every gallon of water. but in what stage of the plants life should i be doing this? should i do it during just vegetive stage or just flowering or throughout the plants whole life, from seed-end?

I start giving the plant maple syrup or molasses 3 weeks into flowering with every watering

I started using it when I went into flower. I mix a tbs to a gallon of water along with my nutes. They sat you can do it right through the flush and all. I don't think you need it for veg though. Could be wrong though.

I will be starting from a seed and it will be grown entirely outside in socal, Santa Monica to be exact, so its pretty warm here. I will be growing alaskan ice and Arjan's ultra haze #1

Seedling-veg: pure water
veg-flowering: high nitrogen nutrients 1/2 strength 1-2 times a week
flowering: 1TBS molasses for every gallon use it every watering + High Potassium and High Phosphorus nutrient 1/2 strength 1 time a week
2 weeks before flowering is done: pure water to flush out everything

how does this grow sound?

Sounds pretty good to me. I started my nutes 1/2 strength and every other watering after flowering but now I give it nutes every watering and they are taking it just fine. If you are growing outdoors I imagine they will drink it right up no problem. I am using schultz 10-54-10 for nutes.

for vegetive nutes im using Miracle grow 20-20-20
and for flowering nutes I'm using Grow More: Super Bloom, 11-54-4

The nutes you are planning to use sound fine. With your feedings just keep your eye on ur plant and she will tell you if she needs anything. There is a great post with plant diagnosis to help recognize any defficiencies.

I have never heard of anyone using the molasses in the veg just in the flower stage.
