when will i see buds?

right now its week 5 flowering on my pure kush and great white shark and all i see is white hairs, when will i start seeing things that resemble buds? any help would be appreciated

Pictures? What kind of light, what is your lighting schedule (how many hours on/off) and what kind of setup (hydro or soil) along with nutrients? You should be seeing buds at week 5 of 12/12 light if that is indeed where you are at.

12/12, 400w hps. i see massive white hairs just not anything that looks like "buds" yet. im using fox farm nuts and soil.

Need more in-depth explanation if no pictures, are the white hairs coming off the stalk or the preflowers?

Heres my WR that just started flowering, in a PC case. Does it have preflowers like this?

more advanced than that picture, the white hairs on the top pretty much wrap the entire stalk

My friend, those are buds. Another 2 weeks you should have something bigger butI really need a picture to give you an accurate answer.

yea i know they r buds, but its just white hairs now, some maybe yellowish :d. nothing with any density really

They're yet to swell up, still waiting to be pollinated. It's just a collection of calyxes with pistols coming out of them for the pollin to land on. If you have pistols, you have calyxes and those are your buds. When the pistols are dieing that is when the calyxes will swell dramatically. You aren't quite there yet.

White hairs grow out of buds. You got buds dude and don't recognize them.

You should see bud development around days 12-14 with the kush, bit later with the GWS.

Hey Degz I know what you mean. I'm growing OG #18 x Skunk, she showed her girlie parts July 1, 2012. She has been flowering 12/12 since then. No Buds!!! I was using FF nutes with FF soil. I have a 400w HPS light. Here is a picture of my OG if you don't mine me posting.



Everyone who have grown this strain says it takes 8-9 weeks. I'm at 7 weeks into flowering no buds yet.
