Ok so my plant has made it past 35 days of vegging 24-7. I am moving into week three of flowering. Or at least the third week since I started 12-12. I do see a couple white hairs at each internode indicating female flowers. Those are sprouting at each intersection, but dont appear to be really filling in allot. Ontop of the plant there appears to be a few popcorn like flowers. Im just wondering at what point things are going to fill in and start looking like bud ??:-?

Good question. I have been wondering the same thing. Mine are a little fuller since the beginning, but I look at other people's huge colas and I wonder how it gets from this to that or if it ever will.

From my experience, which its little, you'll see little growth up thru about 5 weeks. The last half of the flowering is when the swelling and filling in begins. Patience.....You see the popcorn on top because those are bud sites that are growing from scratch. Its easier to grow from nothing (top of pant) than it is to grow from a lower node.

That is some really good info. I am only entering the third week of flower. So the real swelling and formation is later in flower? Explain what you mean exactly by easier to grow from nothing, than a lower node. Newbs!

3 weeks... just starting, they will come you must just be patient. the more you ignore them and let them grow you more you will be pleased by them :)

A bud having to grow out of the side of a green plant is harder than growing from nothing on top. It takes more energy for a bud to split the green and appear than to grow freely on top.

I am feeding 1/2 strength iguana bloom nutes, followed by plain water, and then plain water again. I wait two solid days after watering before watering again. My light is around 400 actual watts of CFL. These bulbs are 105 watt 2700k, huge, and hot enough to burn. So I have them surroungding the plant closely with one suspended over head. I try to turn the plant a few times daily, and have white reflective paint in my area.:-?
depends a lot on what type of plant you have...some are flowering very quick, some are flowering in even 10-12 weeks+ ; what type of plant do you have?

doesn't look to happy...over watering?
Under actually. :( they are recovering from a drought after I left them alone for a few days. Also think I may have a bit of excess N. I gave them a big drink of clean water and I'm going to leave them alone a few days and hopefully they will bounce back.

Maybe you're force flowering. It can take up to two weeks for the plant to even put out preflowers. Did you have preflowers before you switched to 12/12?

This is what mine looked like a 2 weeks. I switched when it was sexually mature.

Mine is also a 50/50 hybrid like the bubblegum.

just don't miss the "plumps" you'll have a bunch of them through the grow.. also it will get to a point where you wil be like "is it done? it looks done.. is it done?" if you have to ask yourself.. then its probably not done.. you definately do NOT want to miss that last plump its the biggest and will increase your yield by alot..

Best rule of thumb don't go less then 70 days FLOWERING. (not 12/12 not preflowering) but from FLOWERING

I completely disagree with dont go less than 70 days flowering. It is all dependant on the strain. Some strains will be completely ripe in 7 weeks.
