I'm drying at 60-70% RH and 70-80 degrees F. How long at theat temp would you dry?
The stems now snap when bent, but it has to bent 90 degrees or more to do so. And once it snaps, the stem doesn't come off but has to be peeled off (still some moisture). I know that you don't want it bone dry, so when would you stop?

This is the first time I've attempted to dry and cure properly so I was just wondering; for those who said that 2 weeks was best; is there a difference between smokeable and 'ready for the jar'? Cause today one of the smaller buds snapped off and broke up like it was ready, but it's only been like three days. I'd ike to let is go two weeks too.
If I keep the RH up then the bud wont over-dry will it? Some of the thicker stems don't snap as easily as the smaller stems but they do snap.

Hi Beansly

I am not a veteran but had/have some auto plants (outdoor). The way i dried them last time was pretty quick. After a few days drying i found them dry enough to put them in jars, but not closing the lid. After some time you can close the lid for a while and the buds will get a little more dampy. Then you leave the jars open a day or so. I don't know if i explain it correctly but this is the sort of "curing" i did. And the result was pretty good IMO. I like to smoke not ultra-dry.

But, i think it all depends on a lot of factors, so take my advise and just experiment carefully.

let it all dry at that temp for 7-10 days, when the big buds, get like that smaller bud,put in paper bag for a day or two, then snap buds from stem, put in jar and start your burping..
