When you cure bud...

Does the colour and smell change?

yes, it does.... first its a petrol smell.... then it goes to a nice marijuana smell with me.......

If you cure for a month, wich i found a bud curing in my closet.. amazing green compared to the other .....

So yeah....... it does change smell, sometimes your bud can realy stink of marijuana then when u harvest it might smell of hay..... But then u had a shit strain ^^

My bud smells fruity kind of..been in cure for 24hours so looking to cure for 2/3 weeks in a jar hope it smells dank the next time i open it soz dont have warhammer or i would of played you...have you ever played aom(age of mythology)'

u have to burp once a day, so u will smell it again before 3 weeks.

i played AOM ages ago. wasnt as good as age of empires imo

I dry for 3-5 days and then clean'em. After bagging, I burb every day for a week. This is critical because some strains "remoisten" after bagging and that moisture will cause mold if not handled. The color of the buds will darken and the smell loses it's "fresh cut grass" smell. After 2 weeks you got finished product and depending on your personal plans, IT'S PARTY TIME.

Not really. A well grown plant can smell like hay when it's harvested because it's healthy. Your buds should have a smell too of course but just because you have a hay smell doesn't mean you have a shit strain.

The hay smell is just the chlorophyll breaking down.

This could be out of thread but it is a cure question. Has anyone tried Water cureing? I may try a few of my smaller limbs when they are done, just something about dunkin buds in water for 7 days that doesnt seem right.

Yeah i know that about the chlorophyll... but still believe me, when i harvest that shit ww i had ... lol white widow yeh right. anyway it smelld horrible...... smelled good growing... 12 hours after harvest it just started stinking.... ugly.... my experience tells me that if it smells of strong of hay atb. your pretty much in for not such a good smelling smoke...

this doesnt mean u wont get high, i prefer the hardcore smelling ganja ......

haha....... Well its just basicly what i would expect from my harvests ^^ .... if not then better for me...... I know loads of articles say that with the time it will smell better... but u know what.. i can hardly believe that hay smelling weed can turn in to a beautyfull ganja smell..... Early California was stinking my room up with ganja smell, even the police were like fuck... it stinks in here
