Sounds like a plus to me. Sometimes a smart woman equates to a raging Succubus. My wife ain't the sharpest either but I find some of her moments to be downright hilarious.
 
I'm with Neo, and some other reasonable folk here. Sounds like you actually have a pretty good thing. Too smart, and they are difficult to steer. If you still enjoy looking at her, the sex is good, she is a good mom and gf, she doesn't hassle you, jeeeesus, man, you have been together so long you have forgotten how shitty the alternatives are! Count your blessings and find your intellectual stimulation elsewhere.

I don't really like my girlfriend either hence my repeated refusals over the last 3 years to move in with her. I have a great job and live alone. It took me 43 years and one divorce to get such an awesome life. I'm not fucking it up. I'd rather beat off the rest of my life than to be anything more than weekend fuck buddies.
 
I once had a girlfriend who was insane but also EXTREMELY intelligent. It was fucking AWFUL.

Yeah actually all good points guys, I should just shut up now lol. Life could be a lot worse than being with someone with poor literacy and occasional lapses in common sense. She's not retarded at all, just a bit of a "dumb broad", of which there are many in this world. Just looking back on what I wrote about her positives, I should feel blessed to have someone who is as chilled as she is. She doesn't even smoke weed, or drink more than 1 drink in a night, and yet here I am growing and smoking freely without as much as an ounce of resistance. I was just pissed earlier because of her little " I'll just tell everyone they suck " moment that ended up bringing my mother into an argument with one of our neighbours, really had me face palming.
 
Yea i dnt really see the problem, smoke. So shes a lil below ur brainwaves, she could be alot of worse things. I find dumb girls irritatating too so i see where ur comin from but like someone some posts back, theres ways to break away from that aspect of her. If everything else is cool, why rock the boat?
