Where can I buy extra 5x5 hanging bars?

So I have to hang a heater in my 5x5 and I have no space on my hanging bars in my tent. I need another set of extra ones. Last year I ordered Vivosun poles off Amazon for like $27. Now they are out of stock and I can't find any without paying like $60 with shipping. I thought about cutting a piece of EMT to length and finding the hook pieces, but i don't actually know how much weight a stick of EMT can actually support. Any ideas? I'm in Canada btw.

I assume you mean the cross bars at the top? I was thinking about making a couple myself out of 5/8" steel conduit for electrical wire. Just flatten the ends and pound them around a piece of dowel or rake handle to put a curve on the ends to hold them to the other parts of the frame. Just make sure there aren't any sharp corners that may wear a hole in the tent material. File them smooth or a little duct tape should help. Hardware store should carry the conduit. I'm also assuming you have a hack saw, measuring tape, a hammer and decent DIY skills.

Yeah that's what EMT is, great minds think alike lol. I'm just not sure how strong it will be over time. I think I'm gonna hit up home depot and go for it. We used emt to rack up spools of wire when I was an electrician all the time. I think it'll hold. One of the hydro stores here just gave me 2 ft and 4 ft cross bars with the really good connecters for free, shame the connectors are for 1/2" tubing though. It will do nicely in my 4x2 though :bigjoint:

Edit: fuck home depot, shop local lol. $17 for a stick

The cheap bastard chiming in. I use aluminum angle for thread plates on stairs. Cheap in 10' sections. Easy to cut and many times lighter and stronger than conduit. I just cut notches in end. Sand or file burrs and bend over to hook. 6" inline wind tunnel and XL carbon filter put no stress on it. LOL.

Good luck.
