Where can I buy legit NL#5 seeds?

I am looking for a good plant for a closet grow and this one seems to fit my needs. High yield, potent and little smell.

I am considering Chocolope as well but it is VERY expensive!

Is there a truly legit NL #5 bean to be found? I had heard was the real true original NL #5 was only available as Cutting and used as Mother from Neville's "The Seed Bank". Named "CI #5 F1" originally. The lineage is unknown - some people say its a Thai x Indica, than backcrossed to the Indica, but this is only pure speculation.

Supposedly that was where the plant that The Seed Bank entered in the HTCC [1990]; Pure Indica division and won the first prize came from.

In 2002 Sensi Seeds took third place in the Bio Cup division in the HLC Cup.

I suppose someone would consider one or the other, or both possibly, to be; “legit NL#5 seeds,” but I have looked at the normal sites I use, and a few others and the only site I found that offered them gave little information on them so they are of unknown genetic origin, I have no idea if the business is reputable and if you are in the U.S. they say they do not ship to the U.S. Supposedly the seeds are the product of BC Seeds and BC Seeds is listed in the DANGER WILL ROBINSON! DANGER! DANGER! ripoff section of Greenman’s ratings page so even if the seller is reputable it seems somewhat safe to say the product might not be …. So the only place I know to purchase that strain offers it from a breeder that is well known to be disreputable … so I cannot tell you were you can locate what you would consider to be “legit NL#5 seeds.”

If you cannot find the NL #5 you want and are not sure about paying the price for the Chocolope and end up rethinking things and looking for a different strain, be sure to look through Reeferman’s menu. There is a lot of goodies to be found there.

If you use the following link it will take you to Reeferman’s gear that is offered at Attitude Seeds. If nothing else it is an easy way to look through his line even if you do not purchase there. http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/reeferman/cat_139.html

You can use the next link to see a more complete listing of Reeferman’s work over the years. Not all are listed and not all are available today, but it gives one some idea of how varied a line has always existed there but for some reason it seems to be overlooked by some. http://en.seedfinder.eu/seeds_from_Reefermans_Seeds.html

Awesome, 6$ a seed is very good. Beats 12$ a seed for the high end ones of Barneys. I am going to try those out for my next grow. I will deal with the cheap ones in the beginning, I think that is a smart thing to do.

i've run the nl#5 from highgrade too, on my 3rd reveg/clone cycle
it certainly seems to match the key nl#5 traits, low odor, squat, high yields and piney scented buds
good strong indica, bit on the heady side, maybe from the thai influence
i did get it to be pretty much body in my last grow, but took 12 weeks of flower

That is really great if they are the real deal, and even pretty good if just a good knockoff ... but if they are breeding or reselling could make all the difference in the world. But if they are a value, then it is good to know about the place.

i found nirvana has 10 for 25$ Northern Light (no S) are these a knock off not worth getting?

I am basically looking for low odor > yield > potency in that order.

Mr Nice seed company, Breeder Shantibaba.. He and Neville work together, and are also fellow countrymen Aussies,.. His NL5 crosses are as legit as they come
U CANNOT get anymore legit then mr nice gear, he HAS the originals, they are his own landrace strains he collected himself, not to mention the hazes and g13 that Neville has given him.,
Shanti is also the breeder of the white strains while he part owned GHS, which he still has the original parents of and has re-named so ppl don't confuse the white widows, white rhinos etc with his originals

The original northern lights comes from canada. If you have northern lights (legit) it originated here. the low odor fast indica originates in british colombia.

i just picked up seeds to a nl afghan cross. ass they are from a oldschool breeder who is a master baker, im looking forward to these. Im excited cause i hade some legit nl for a while but i stopped growing them for a bit and when i tried again, they wouldnt germ.

ill check the link to tho. if i can get a pure nl that would be dope.

You may want to check out 303 seeds happy life mix pack at the attitude seed bank. Its NL#5 and I think there is a grow journal from 303 somewhere on the forums here under the title "aurora project" I think.

HighGrade is having problems...Folks have sent money and not received s33ds or communication...Check out their forum for complaints...It's a shame!!! These folks were among the best...I read owner was ill or hospitalized...I wish him (her, them) well...Hope they make a come back...FWIW

Ontario seed bank. Great genetics but varied but you will find a few keepers per pack. Decent prices as well, for reg northern lights. Ive smoked the finished product and its top notch smoke. Its a atomic nl cross with holland nl. No idea what holland nl is.

My friend has 3 keepers, all 3 do a 1.5 times flower grow. 1 is mega frosty and tasty/stinky. 2 are heavy heavy yielders with frosty buds as well. Actually all 3 are heavy yielders, bend the branch back to the ground type yielders.
