my question is does that have a wall plug in male end.

that's the problem i'm having...i can find shit like this but nothing that'll plug into the wall...same reason i'm doing CFL instead of HSP...i found the bulb, but no one that had anything that i could plug in..

it that a common problem.

If a little wiring scares you (ok in my book. Better safe then dead. But still ultra easy) Just wander down to the local vocational school and offer a kid a few bucks to do it for you. (stuff in car and fake plate/tag for just in-cases) or just get a book at the library on basic house wiring. It is *FAR* from something magical!)

Yeah, can't plug a HPS bulb into a straight wired socket like a normal bulb..
Overall sounds like you need turn-key solutions.

If your not able to do basic wiring then get a shop light & a Y splitter, this way you can run 2 bulbs from one light & be able to plud it direct into the wall with no wiring, repeat the shoplight & Y splitter as many times as it takes.

OR...........................buy a 150 watt hps security light from your local hardware store, tell them you want it to be portable so you can move it around your garage & have them install a plug on the end.

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Its 2 wires twisted to 2 more wires mayb e 3 wires all the same color.Just buy the fixture 3 wire nuts and a male plug end which they sell to for about 2 bucks.Match white to white twist a wire nut on.Black to black twist a cap on and green to green twist a cap on now plug in.Any your inference that you taking calculus making you better then those who took shop or vocational school makes you a dick as you see that math didn't help you here much you had to ask us low life trademen how to do the very basics of nothing.Next time pin point your response to a person because a tradesman like myself might be inclined to tell you to get fucked and learn about this stuff in your calculus or physics book.Oh and your welcome, and thats from someone whos city is the international hub of the United States and sophisticated enough to have 5 million people

GrimReefa's response of are you really that stupid, left him open for the attack. Maybe both you guys were outa line, but who cares.

Can't we all just get along?

As for your response, look at HD like everyone else said, for that fixture. Then just get you a bunch of Y adapters so you can have two cfl's instead of one per socket.

Seriously man. Depending on how much your growing I'd buy a 250w or 400w MH/HPS light pre-made. No Wiring included and ballast hooks into your wall. Costs you a bit more then CFLs but it's all your decision :).

Also, I love that Hillary picture. (I am a Democrat)

well, don't love the photo (democrat here too)...but it's all good. i did my campaigning for sure...i'm all for Billie Dee Williams over my mom...

wait. that sounds funny.

anyway, where do you suggest i get a pre build HPS set up? the only placei have been to is a hydro shop that quoted me 540.
