I just picked up some purple kush clones and was wondering if anyone knows the particulars of this strain, yield, aroma, genetics, origin etc...
Where did purple kush come from????

i think purple kush is kush x afghani or a skunk or something like that dont know about the yeild it depends if ur growin indoor or outdoor and yes it is going to stink a lil bit im sure.

Purple Kush and the history of it.
This pure indica medicinal strain comes from California. In that state's medical community she is considered an "elite clone", meaning that she is only available as a cutting. Not to worry if you are a medical merijuana patient in California - this strain can be found at various despensaries throughout the state. Purple Kush is especially popular at the SR-71 dispensary in "Oaksterdam", the section of downtown Oakland that tolerates medical marijuana providers. kush doesnt come from cali or canada, nice try. It comes from the mountins of Hindu Kush in India. it was brought to canada (BC) then moved to Humbolt county in CALI

You are all right to a point, yes Kush is a hindu strain but if you can find me a purple kush there let me know! im not totally sure of the origan of the the purple strain but im sure its not from hindu? but what i am sure is that cali has been for years yhe founder of many Kush strain crosses and purple Kush is one of them just like pineapple kush etc. Happy smoke'n
if ya could can ya tell me some more about that cross? which pk was used as there are many different cuts going around sr71, lvpk, garberville, etc etc? and the ssh used the male i assume. and a friend have been workin on a pkXssh cross. taken a lvpk to reversed ssh and a selected pheno back to lvpk to help keep flowertime down.

Not sure about about what Pheno of the Purple Kush he has, what he tells me is this came from humboldt (from a grower) my buddy has been growing this strain out for 5-6 years. Male was Purple Kush , fem was Super Silver Haze. Keep in mind this is a first gen cross but is exhibiting some very nice traits (early budding, very close internoding, exsessive and early trichome production, seems to be resistant to humid high temp areas (this summer was messed up), branches are very strong and it took well to topping, and I am seeing alot of purple in stems and fans, and has a definate SSH smell with a strong almost juicey fruit gum smell, and the buds are very dense growing together into nice tight cola's almost 8"s long at 23 days in flower. Here are a couple more shots from today.

i got my purple kush mom from seed found 2 in a Oz got one female out of the two and she doesnt herm and has all the characteristics stated above....

Now Attitude has a new seed form of what is suppose to be Purple Kush and im growing some out at the moment to see just how close it comes to the real cali PK i'll keep you all informed as it goes' right now they are only 3 nodes tall but when you rub a leaf it has a true Purple smell to it so we'll see..Peace
