Where do i place my intake and exhaust vents?

This is my first grow. I will be growing one plant in a 1x1x3 foot area (lxwxh). The lights I am using will be 2 or 3 100W CFL's. Is it completely necessary for my exhaust to be at the top and my intake to be at the bottom of my box, or can my intake be at the top and exhaust at the bottom? I will have forced exhaust AND intake. I will also have a small fan blowing near the top of the CFL's to move the heat and near the plant. The only reason I ask is because having my exhaust at the bottom and intake at the top will make it easier given the circumstances of the placement of my box. If it is very important for the exhaust to be at the top I am sure I can make it happen.:peace:

if i was u i would definatly have it at the top, i recomend using 1 125watt cfl and having the intake at the bottom exhaust at the top if u have 300watts in there even fluorescent ur temps are going to be nearly double what they should be maybe even a fire?

Its best for the exhaust to be at the top bcuz hot air rises and would work smoother and be easier to cool ur box like that..You can do it however u want but the best results are when the exhaust is at top ..Good Luck

also you want the intake to be at the bottom so that the cool air enters and goes all through your plants and once it gains enough energy (heat) it will rise to the top for exhaust justlike timtebow said.

Are those really 100 watt CFL? or are they really 23 watters that put out the same amount of light as a 100 watt incandescent bulb? Because if they are equivalent, they are really only 23 watt bulbs.
