I'm sure this subject has already been covered, but my searches didn't answer my exact question. $100 is too much to pay for a bulb that only costs $5 to manufacture, so I'm trying to locate a vendor with reasonable prices. 1000Bulbs.com has decenet pricing on a few select bulbs, but outrageously high pricing on others. I also found a china direct website that has prices below manufacturing costs, but after researching, I found that it is a business that specializes in manufacturing and selling counterfeit merchandise. Just because the box says Hortilux, doesn't mean you are getting the real thing. So . . . where does everyone get their bulbs without getting screwed?
