Where has all the money gone...

I realize that you don't work, so your ignorance is somewhat forgivable. Leach.

"The Social Security tax functions very much like a flat tax. A single rate of 12.4% is applied to wage and self-employment income earned by a worker up to a maximum dollar limit. Half of this tax is paid for by the employee in the form of payroll withholding. The other half of this tax is paid for by the employer. Self-employed persons pay both halves of the Social Security tax since they are both the employee and the employer."

I think your post accidentally made UBs point bro

so is it a hobby or a business now?

i was under the impression that the tax on $0.00 is $0.00.
Even if you deduct all of your hobby expenses to zero out your income you still have to report this income (or no income) on a tax form with an itemized deduction list showing your offsets. We are technically even supposed to claim our garage sales money. The IRS even wants us to include that 5 dollar bet you won off of your brother.

I'm starting to think you may not be a law-abiding citizenbongsmiliebongsmilie

What makes you think I was 16 in 1983?
File the proper government tax return forms and find out. It is your civic duty. Tax evading leach.
i have been working since age 16. The ss tax rate is 12.4%, currently. The ss cap is $110k, not $113k. You and the tax evading leach can probably do the math between mutual jack off sessions.
110000 /12.4% = 13640
400000/13640 =29.3255

so you claim to of made 110000 dollars self employed for 29.3255 years

whatever he does, he can thank socialism for the opportunity. he is the beneficiary of what was described as a "welfare program" at the time it was implemented.

with desert rat, he would have been on the front lines crying about gubbmint welfare without a doubt.
Pay the taxes you owe. Honor the social contract. Tax evading leach.

Do you know who else was a tax evading leach? Al Capone.

I take truth wherever I find it, CN.

Having paid about $400K into social security over the years, I also get a bit annoyed at the term, "entitlement". I want my $400K back, with interest!

The simple fact is, the government embezzled all of the SS funds. The government was the dishonest middleman in the whole scheme. There is no "trust fund" with trillions of accumulated contributions. When income falls below outgo something is going to give.

why would I? Is there a law of paying taxes on gifts I receive? Once you look that up the next answer is no, I've never paid taxes on gifts I've GIVEN. But that's because I've never gifted anything big enough to be taxed, what is it now 12K or more?

Then I subtracted 29 years from 2012. Seeing as you never contested the math Cheesus did, you in fact acknowledged it and said:

See what a little initiative can get you. You ought to try it.
So I ask again. What did you do for a living at 16 that netted you that much money in 1983? If that's not when you were 16, then insert the correct year and the question remains amazingly valid still.

You do know that a donation is a gift, correct?

I'm still try to figure out how someone who claims to of made at least 110000 dollars a year for more than 29 years of being self employed
Cannot do simple math

Some donations are exempt (campaign donations, gifts to spouses) some are not. Some are even deductible, like when gifted to a charity. Buck asked specifically about Christmas presents.

alot of the problem is we have turned welfare into something that everyone gets on and then STAYS on...welfare isnt for people to be on it forever, its supposed to be something to help people when their down so they can get back up and going again, instead half of the USA has turned into fat, lazy, american slobs that have no problem sucking off of welfare forever at the cost of american taxpayers.

ron paul said it best in his farewell speech to congress...once the USA loses its wealth and is militarily challenged, there will be MAJOR backlash coming, for all of us, and its going to be bad, i hope im dead by then

Why would any intelligent person contest anything Cheesy says? He is a moron. I don't wrestle with pigs, or piss into the wind either.

True, I think "gift" would be a better route to go, from the legal angle. Under 13k and it's non-taxable.

And still no straight answer. Also, his math is sound. You still haven't explained what you were doing at 16 that netted you 110,000 a year.
