where to find acacia bark or something similar...

Alright guys so im in a bit of a dilema here, i was planning on running a chemistry experiment but so far havent found a legitimite soure from where i could get acacia bark or mimosa hostilis. If someone knows of a safe place you will make my day haha thanks alot guys

lol. Mimosa is likely what you want. Secret Herbals ebay store is a good one as well as Heavenly Products.

No problem brother. I too am looking forward to some clandestine chemistry and "research" over spring break! Midterms have me fucking STRESSED! Can't wait to unwind.

ahhh mann tell me about it...i feel like ive been loosing my mind these past couple of weeks. a good blast-off or 2 is going to be exactly wat i need to get me through the 2nd hald of the semester haah Goodluck with the midterms man and continue doing wat you do:leaf:

Depends. Where I live yes, but I hear it can be a bit hard to find in other places as it's also used in meth production. You can check your local stores for drain cleaners, just make sure you get 100% NaOH. My local ACE hardware had it last I looked, so check that out too. If you really can find any locally, you can always order some via the internet.

hmm i havent seen that tek yet, but it does seem like a good alternative if i cant find NaOH. i really dont want to use a credit card online for the exact reason heir proctor said. In the food safe tek, could someone mix it in a crockpot to keep the mixture slightly warm? this way it would also keep the naptha slightly warm too. Im just trying to piece together a strategy which would work best, anything tips which would help in getting a good yield would be awesome!! First-timer here

i can buy everything for that tek at the grocery store and ace hardware, ace even carrys pickling lime, which is very safe. and yes you could warm it in whatever way you feel comfortable ive done it on the stove myself in a careful manor, if your not doing a huge extraction you wont be using enough naptha for it to really have much risk. i do a pot of water on the stove and get it good and warm then sit my bowl inside that and work with warm water in that way.
