Where to go from sapling?

Hi, my friend gave me a sapling for to grow out door in the uk? im in the south and id really just like some directions to go from where i am, im not sure of the strain !

Well first off good luck, but how much do you know about growing and do you have an idea of where you're going to grow because if its just a guerrilla grow then you're going to need to find a place thats relatively inaccessible to try and avoid getting caught, that would be the first thing to do
