where to order a trichome maginfer online

I am pretty sure 60x - 100x is right in the range you need
I got the one from radio shack that I post for you and it works great
the only thing I dont like about it, dont know if its me or the microscope but its hard to see when all the lights are on, so I go in a couple min before lights are set to come on and check them out
but for 9.00 bucks cant go wrong with this
 
Look into a thingy called the bionic eye by eyeclops. It's a toy, it plugs into your tv and magnifies things 200x. Runs off five double a batteries.

You don't need trichs to be magnified 100x to see them. In fact, you couldn't even tell what you were looking at if you tried. In my opinion those scopes are overkill and also a little tricky to master.

And yes, I have one of those little scopes. It's sitting right there on the shelf with dust all over it.

The 30x loupe gives me plenty of magnification, and it's much simpler to use.

Just a suggestion.
 
Turn the knob until it is focus... yeah pretty tough....
Did you look at the trichs on the plant or did you cut a small bit of sugar leaf off and look at it on a white background?
I don't think the radio shack scope could be any easier to use honestly
And the price is great

Good advice, telling someone to spend $16.96 extra for a stupid little sticker that says "420 scope"
They are literally the exact same microscope, except the one has a $16.96 sticker on the side. This is the reason neg rep should be brought back to the general public of riu

A good jewlers loupe works ok but is not backlit. The Radio Shack Illuminated Microscope (60-100x) has worked awesome for me for a number of years. Just because it goes to 100x doesn't mean you have to- I use mine at 60x and see all the amazing trichs I need!

Hi Tom, My $67.50 Bionic-eye cam is going to allow me to start a little, "Most Spectacular" trichome contest next fall.
It has a USB memory chip for downloading screen captures to your computer for uploading later, call me creative I guess.
