Whether to flip considering....

Hello all rollitup peoples, I have a general marijuana growing question. I just as in minutes ago finished tying down, and scrogging my plants. I have finished feeding and watering the girls who are residing in SIPS. Plants look healthy, no notable deficiencies to my untrained eye. It is my second grow attempt. (1st grow killed by me with too much h2o.) :spew:Was traumatic for me, but wasn't giving up, was really doubting myself, but have since observed how to water properly, and have also discovered these SIPS which simplify watering greatly.

To my question, would it be ok to flip the girls today to flower? Or, considering the stress they endured when i tied and scrogged them down, should I wait a period of time, days, even a week before I flip?

Depends on strain, ceiling/trellis height, and how big they are now.
The strain is Black Garlic (4 clones) supposedly from genetics grown from JordanoftheIslands seeds( Thug Pug Genetics). I have a DR120 growtent from Secret Jardin, and I have about 14 - 16 inches for my 315w cmh to go up. They have been vegging approx. 8 weeks because I am newbie, I have let them veg a while. I am concerned about ceiling, and is why I tied and scrogged them in the first place.

If they are as high as they look already, i would have flipped a couple of weeks ago.. the shit will stretch and pack the tent..

P.S. why are you using H2o at all?

Plants stretch like crazy the first couple weeks of flip, your trellis should have been a foot or so higher judging from what i can see.

Maybe double the trellis and flip asap.

Yes, am afraid i vegged too long, but like i already said, i am newbie. Would plant yo yo's be alright instead of a second trellis net? I am assuming you are recommending a second trellis for support of buds.

I personally don't use a trellis, you might not even need support but yes, that is what i was referring to, for support. You should probably flip sooner than later.

I just have to switch the bulb and everything is ready i think. Would love to do it today, but just the training stress.

You’re going to be stuffed tight, flip now imo
I've read some of your posts, you seem to be well respected as a grower around here so, I'm putting the 3100k bulb in right now. I guess i'll just keep tucking for the first 2 or 3 weeks of flower to keep them shorter?

Do all you can do. Im a big time supercropper myself. I’ll bend the shit out of them until the stretch has ended.

Yes, I did supercrop a bunch of branches before I put the net on. Ok, cool, will do that until stretch ends and pray they don't wanna still hit the light during flower. Thanks for sharing your experience. :bigjoint:

No need to hang a second trellis. Just keep tucking them back under the first couple of weeks of 12/12, then let them do their thing.
Absolutely no harm in training after the flip
