Which auto is best for a first?

I've grown a couple photos at this point, now I'm gonna try my hand at autos, but I have several to choose from and I'm having issues. Any advice on which of these would be my best bet for an intro into autos?

These are the beans I have to choose from:

Auto Seeds Berry Ryder
Kannabia Seeds Auto Hobbit
Kannabia Seeds Baby Boom AUTO
Dinafem Seeds Blue Kush AUTO

I had excellent results with my first and only auto,dinafem auto amnesia...
I've grown thousands of photos,but was very impressed still by this strain...37.5 grams, 2gal smart pot,dynagro foliage pro,soak in nute bath..(I used the runoff/old res nutes from my hydro to feed)..I reccommend it as it was simple,and yielded good,with good buds..lots of compliments!
So to answer your question,I'd have to go with dinafem from my experience with this auto and photos ive grown from them,all being top notch,im sure the blue kush would be no exception...good luck!

started to germ a Berry ryder today never done autos so well see.

I just got 150 grams trimmed and dried off a Barneys Sweet Tooth auto. I have grown out out DinaFems before too and was very impressed. I've also ran some Auto Seeds as well. From your list, id go with DinaFem.

grew kannabia thai fantasy and kannabia special auto outdoor alongside delicious seed northern lights blue and dinafem blue cheese. both kannabia auto started flowering and finished flowering a month after the other brand autos. i say the kannabia auto were semi auto so keep that in mind with flowering on anything but 12/12 if you choose to grow those.
5.5 foot tall thai fantasy auto started may 15 chopped sept 15 veg til mid july then flowered about 60 days.
i know its not what you have but giving a heads up on the semi auto i experienced(started flowering when days were getting shorter).will say tho kannabia auto's were by far more potent and would regrow where i would not the northern lights blue or blue cheese.

My experience with Dinafem autos is top notch. I mean, I drop a bean in some water over night then put it in a 1" cube in a Dixie cup filled with perlite, set it on the windowsill and wait for it to pop. Keep the cube moist and have a 100% success so far with Dinafem.

They are so easy and hardy it's pathetic. Transplant to final pot after say a week maybe 2, I like the 5 gallon hempy bucket with perlite and vermiculite best because that makes it even easier. I do usually start feeding it after about 2 weeks at about 25 to 50% of what the feeding schedule calls for. Depends on how the plant looks. Then work it up to what the plant can handle. Keep your PH right and only rarely do the PPM meter since, I have been using the same nutes for a while, either GH flora 3 part or Recipe for Success nutes. They both work fine. I do flush about twice the grow and usually feed water or maybe feed water water. Always adjusted to about 5.8-6. I also like them to be pretty dry between water/feeding.

Give em some fan air and the good light they need, maybe 100 actual watts of LED and have had success with CFLs as well. I've done both the 12/12 and 20/4 and to be honest, they both work. 20/4 probably does bump up your yield a bit, I don't really know because I am always trying different stuff so have no data to compare.

I honestly have never had any problems with Dinafem genetics. Guess that's why I keep using their stuff. I am sure there are other quality genetics as well, I'm just kinda like F it. This shit works so keep doin it ya know. I did grow out a really aggressive RoadRunner once and had to trim that plant 3 times it was like a total bush. It gave a really good yield even tho I used MG soil, nutes and CFL lol. My best auto grow actually. Other than that I rarely trim and just leave it alone accept for feeding.

That's it man. Never had any problems that I can think of. Easy peasy. Don't BF it to death ya know.

I agree,I grow some photos by them that rule..and I'm the kinda guy that won't buy too many seeds..

I like Dinafem genetics. And Blueberry's yield heavily; although Kush's don't. But - I'd definitely be growing out their Blue Kush in my own garden. Sounds awesome.

Yeah I grow photos but I have 1 auto that I leave in my veg room

Anyone grow autos using super soil? I don't like top feeding so I was gonna go this route, but I'm not seeing many people doing it, is it a poor choice for autos?

grew all mine in super soil. fed weekly with kelp and worm tea. top dressed with hi p bat guano a few times.

I suggest trying photosensitives at 12/12 from seed[1]. I'm growing 9 plants (4 strains) and really like how it's going. It has the fast pace I liked with my auto strain. Uses 2/3 the electricity. Has the flexibility of growing some short "from seed" plants alongside taller photos that vegged 6 weeks.

I've really enjoyed the auto strain I've run for a long time. I like auto's insensitivity to light (no dark period). Really useful to someone who isn't prepared to setup a tent, ventilation, etc. But, I think I'm doing 12/12 from now on.[1]

[1] In reality, I think 2-3 weeks of 18/6 is better. Slightly larger plants that are more comparable to autos.

Yep. I'm the guy that doesn't do a tent. I did build a cabinet once, but nitched that idea, because it got hot in there and my closet is fine except for light leaks out all over the place. Autos are awesome if all of a sudden you have company coming over for a visit and you need to shut down the lights so it doesn't look like Chernobyl leaking out from under the bedroom door. I use the LEDs lol.

Of course I just grow a little for myself and am not a pro trying to maximize anything. But, yeah your Auto advice is solid. If I ever buy seeds again I am gonna buy a ton of just autos. So easy and hardy. Perfect for the newb or lazy grow no doubt.

I've thought about it, I currently have a little grow of 9 photos in one big pot that I am going to throw into 12/12 as soon as they hit 5th node, and keep them lollipopped. Started some seeds while I was waiting for my attitude order and then didn't want to throw them out. Mainly I wanted to try autos because even with 12/12 from seed it still seems like there is a much longer stretch from planting to harvest than with autos. Here is my goal. My main harvest every year is going to be my big outdoor harvest, which should go from around mid september (Fro the real fast flowerers like my Mendo Madness) up to early november (For the longer flowering sativas like my Hazes/Cheeses). Now, what I am trying to do is work in 2-3 smaller indoor harvests into the earlier part of the year before it gets too hot to run lights indoors. The benefit of using Autos for this is that I can maintain a 18/6 light schedule, which will allow me to flower autos as well as grow mothers to clone from for the outdoor season. Without autos, I would need to keep two grow rooms, one for flowering and one for keeping mothers, and I don't have the space for that right now. So yeah, moral of the story, I am currently giving 12/12 from (close to) seed a try, but I have the auto seeds all ready and waiting so I see no reason NOT to give them a go too, especially since they can bloom while I pheno hunt for mothers with my regs in the same grow room.

Based on everyone's input I'm going with the Dinafem Blue Kush Auto, so look out for a grow journal to commence in the near future, the seed just went into a germ bag. Probably going to start a Kannabia Auto Hobbit a week later so I can see how they do side by side and get a little bigger harvest than just one plant. Probably just gonna keep the bagseed vegging until the autos are done and will throw them into 12/12 or put them outside then, maybe sooner if the autos are being stubborn under 18/6.
