Which Cubensis Strain Is Your Favorite?

I'm ordering some syringes soon, and I had no idea there were so many strains of mushrooms available! Are the strains similar to weed strains, in that the different strains give a different, but all around similar experience?

What's your favorite strain and why/what was it like?

Thanks i'll research both of those :)

I've also heard a lot of good things about Golden Teachers and God Seeker's. Anyone have any experience with either of those?

Try out some cambo's or philosophers stones, I think they exhibit both ends of a possible outcome.

Cambodians are, in my opinion, a more energetic colourful experience, while the P.S. are a super introspective, meditative experience.

The current strain I'm growing, and have grown for over 2 years...South Amercian.

Huge fruit bodies, fast colonization times, large fan caps, and as strong as any other psilocybe cubensis.

All cubensis have a psilocybin percentage of approx 1.2% Psilocin/Psilocybin by weight.

South American spores are HIGHLY recommended. ;-)

I think I might go with the South American, Golden Teachers, Oak Ridge, or Cambodian
Hard to choose, I'll just have to randomly pick one :)

They all colonize at about the same times, and they're all about the same strength as cubensis.

Haven't tried Oak Ridge yet; heck that whole list sounds like a solid plan to me...;-)

A cube is a cube is a cube.

Just get a big yielder, like a Golden Teacher, make some cultures until you get the thickest and contam-free culture. Really most cubes are pretty similar and their different names are for marketing. Penis envy is a pain in the ass if you want to be a self-sufficient grower too, it has less spore yields from prints.

Good luck.

FRESH CUBENSIS are my favorite.

the more fresh they are....the stronger.

so homegrown cubensis are always good

I've decided on the reputable Cambodian strain and the mysterious Oak Ridge :)
I'll be doing the PF Tek and be sure to make a log with pics and such so keep an eye out ;)

For fun, golden teachers, for something more intense MDK, and for plunging into the underworld, Transkei (also name SAT for south african transkei). I have yet to encounter another cube that has the same effect as that last one.
You either hate it or love it, but you need to have your shit together, cause it will rub it in your face until you learn.

Yeah, while fresh is stronger... it's harder to heat 35g of wet mushrooms as opposed to 4g dried. I've tried both ways and I only noticed that fresh was mildly stronger and I felt like I had eaten a ton of gross food...

And the only strains that I have grown are B+, Cambodian, and Puerto Ricans. All of them felt the same. A cube is a cube.
