Which dehumidifier is better Vivosun or Spiderfarmer?

Need a dehumidifier. The Spiderfarmer seems to just blow in outside humid air and blow dry air on plants. Vivosun seems to pull humid air from in tent and then filter back in dry air. Also considering Ac Infinity Hydrone but it’s not out yet. Looking for advice from people that have either unit and can give their experience more or less. Dehumidifying whole lung room is pretty impossible!

I had a problem with the probe on my first SF, but since that's been corrected the new one has been working for me the month I've had it. It's quiet and doesn't draw a lot of power. It dropped my RH from 70 to 50 RH without issue in my 3x3 tent.

Interesting vivosun took the opposite approach. Both methods have merits I suppose. The only knock I can think of off hand for the VS is that it's extracting stinky air back into your house. I'm kinda thinking that it would be harder to dehumidify the whole lung room as apposed to pumping a smaller tent with dry air.

Curious too see others opinions too.

I'd vote for a regular home dehumidifier from the hardware store, in the lung room, preferably with a drain hose if you have a sink or other drain nearby

Pro's: likely more power/capacity for your money vs a unit from a company that makes equipment specifically for indoor horticulture

Con's: can't duct it directly into/out of the tent, although I'd question how necessary or useful that feature really is...

I saw a site that was committed to tested dehueys hardcore style. A empty room with humidifiers, starting up dehuey in 100% rh and seeing how fast it gets it to like 35% or so. Things like that and none of the grow brands were tested. Probably didnt even come out yet. Idk if its just me but I think I only recently saw them come out with those about a year ago.

Along with grow tent heaters which i might get one of those. Anyway, midea was at top of list and just under was frigidair which is what I use. I like mine considering I was told todays dehueys suck compared to back in the day. Id try the midea next time I buy one.

I still have my first one from over 2 yrs ago used a lot. Its used for the dry room now. They tend to last about 1-2yrs sometimes less or more. I really dont think the grow brands are nearly as good but I havent looked into them.
