Which HPS should I get?

I've been growing with cfls for about a year now and have had pretty decent results. But I really want to see how my plants do under a more powerful light. I've searched and there are so much options. I have no idea where to start. Air cooled hoods, digital ballasts, inline fan/no fan, etc. So I would like to hear what the great people of RIU have to say. All/any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Also, I'll probably be going on the smaller side, 250 watts.

Thanks for the link. But as a noob to the HID world, do I really need to get a digital ballast? If I get an old skool ballast, will the bulb life be compromised? Do I run a higher risk of my house burning down? See where I'm going? Those HTG setups seem like to good to be true...

Digital ballasts draw less power from the main, run way quieter (no irritating ticking/buzzing noise) they run cooler and more often or not maximize the potential lumen output of the bulbs you use. You can still use the old type, but they are shit compared to digital - STELTHY

http://www.htgsupply.com/growlights.asp?categoryID=1&subcategoryID=155&typeID=56 this is the 250 but i think you should
get the 400w hps w/euro reflector and growbright high output bulb option, the 400w only costs $2 more than the 250w, and a 6 inch inline duct fan http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=46447
and 8 feet of 6 inch flexible ducting http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=54325
, then get the growbright 4 inch inline fan and carbon filter combo http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=52531
Actually, that is what i did.lol
If you call them up and ask they will give you a very good discount for larger orders. They are really cool, My stuff took 2 days from order to delivery.

Thanks for the input guys. I have a much better idea of what I should be looking for. Darkdestruction, if I had the cash I would probably get that same setup. Guess I'll be using cfls until I can save up for my dream setup. Can't wait!
