What size area are you drying in?

During the summer i had to use a dehumidifier, it's extremely humid here, atm it's

Needless to say i was reluctant to use a dehumidifier but high humidity and trying to dry dense buds, i can only do what i can do.

After a bit of thought about the temps humidity iirc 22/23c/85/90% i concluded that if I control the humidity in the area it doesn't matter about the temperature i still dictate the drying period?

I'm thinking you have the opposite problem but the same application might work, bear in mind my experience with low humidity is limited to hanging a towel lol

After two weeks i had nice bud, dry but not crumbly 62%

I ended up needing a dehumidifier lol.

Question, can I use the dehumidifier water as a clean/non-mineralized source to fill the humidifier?

You will find, that once the the buds have been harvested, the moisture will build up pretty quickly anyway for the first 3 or 4 days or so.....

When I first started growing, I'd use those atomizer humidifiers.. I soon found that my AC filter was clogged, plants had a white chalky film on them, the fan fins were coated with it...looked like drywall dust. It was the water I was using, which was well water. I had to clean everything up and switch to a swamp cooler type, and even then I always used my mini splits condensate water to refill it so it would run clean and not get buildup on the honeycomb media.
RO water leaves no chalky residue

About to chop, need a humidifier for drying process to reach that magical 60% in a 10x15 room. RH right now is 50-55, when it cools down next week it'll be 40%.

Hit me up with your suggestion! Gonna run to Walmart for one, no idea which to get.
Plants are like 80% moisture. You do not need a humidifier to dry buds. Stop and listen to yourselves people. My God. Stop supporting the stereotype.
