i am planing on buying a hydro system within the week and need to know which is better for what i want.

i want either a 6 plant 10 gallon drip system or a 6 plant 10 gallon ebb and flow system. or would a deep water cultivation system (the one with air lines) be good?

please get back to me soon.

I use a 15 gal. bubbleponic/hydroponic top drip system that I built myself ...works great....you can build one for around $60.00..........something to think about.

i liked the idea of ebb and flow but if your new getting the watering schedual set up on a timer for all the feeding and crap is a lot of work, not like it cant be done tho
i was originally going to go with ebb and flow but i decided for my first grow to keep it simple and go with soil
good luck

i have done soil and am doing soil currentlyl. i plan on growing out both of my plants i have now in soil and cloning the female. i like the idea of a bubleponic and a drip system. would i just add a air rock and air pump to a drip system?

yea i think i am going to get a drip system and then just add a air pump to it. so ill be getting that within the week and maybe by then my plants will have enough branch growth for taking a few clones.
does anyone know a good schedual for a small continuous flowering setup?

not much of a space. 2ft X 3 ft in my closet. 6 ft tall. i only want to have like 4 or 5 plants. just a little project.

the way i see it i can have my one mother plant in soil as it is next to my system tub.
here is how i will have it. the 2 F Os will be my 2 flowering ports for the clones. the 2 V Os will be my veging ports for clones. and the M is my mother next to it. the mother and veging will be under 24 hr cfl light probly for like a month or a month and a half. by the time i have plants ready to flower i should have a 250 or maybe a 400w hps for that side. the 2 | in the middle is going to be a devider. leaving 2 ports for watering and water sampling.

does that sound like it would work?

yea ill have to get some heavy duty black plastic and tape it all up real light tight.

one other thing. does anyone know how to concentrate growth on the branches in the lower area so they can grow out like more tops? to make big clones befor i take them.

well you want to keep your lights as close as possible to your plant with out burning them, also you can "top" your plants to get more bud areas, search "topping" for more info , its basically cutting the very top of the plant off so it splits to two new tops

You might want to look into getting an automated Water Farm drip system. It comes with 8 planting containers and an integrated 13gal reservoir with 8gal controller. This is basically a fully automated Ebb & Flow system. The 8 containers are connected to the controller which activates 3-4 times per day. When it activates, the controller fills with water from the main reservoir. As it fills up, the controller pumps the solution to the 8 connected containers. They flood, and then a few minutes later the system reverses and pumps all the solution back into the main reservoir. A few hours later, it happens all over again. All you need to do is appropriately maintain the nutrient solution in the reservoir and this system does the rest. I think it's one of the easiest ways to step into hydroponics, especially if you've already got experience growing in soil.

that would be really cool to get one of those. i only have a 2ftX3ft space right now tho. i am just going to stick with what i was thinking. im ordering it tomorrow.
hey tho i might turn it the other way and split it down the middle so theres 3 ports on each side. then i could take 3 clones at a time.
