Which is quieter?

Hooking up my 6" carbon Phresh filter to my 6" Hyper Fan and out the ceiling.

Should I place the inline fan outside the Gorilla tent between the ceiling and the top of the tent or attach it to the filter inside the tent then 90 degree out?

Quietness comes from airflow. The harder a blower/fan has to work the louder it is. This is why I prefer an active intake and an active exhaust controled by a thermostat and on when off relay. Not only that when the fans/blowers kick in and out the pressure in the grow stays relatively constant.

I have my exhaust on a Ranco ETC thermostat. It's nice.

A real thermostat made for exhausting can easily run you over $100 and more, for those that can afford one or the DIY way for the $20.
