I've only had Querkle, Plushberry, Jilly Bean, and either Jack's Cleaner 2 or Qleaner (the dispensary had it labeled Jack's Qleaner and didn't realize there were two different strains with similar names). I definitely liked Jilly Bean the best since I like an all day smoke that won't get me too sleepy or too anxious and Jilly Bean fit this very well. My lady likes the Querkle best as she says it's good for her back pain; it has a bit too much sleepy indica influence for me, but we still settled on that as the first strain we want to grow from seed. Got 4 little sprouts in the veg tent now.

I really want to try Third Dimension but no one around here seems to have it. I'm considering growing it myself cause the description of the high and the flavor sound like exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm saying ace of spades, I got plushberry to go next. I've tried jtr, awesome, querkle good but not long duration of high, ace awesome so huge best outdoor strain. Dq chernobl next, love freebies thanks sub. Got querkle, jtr, ace, flav, cheese quake, dq, Cher, jilly, vortex and plushberry. Some breeders have a magic touch and sub has it. I first read about him in ht about the Danny boy strain, wanted his gear since. Did time for growing and got out eventually. Bought his ace of spades. Heard bcs was fire. Tried some gear but never grew it til I saw the attitude stocked tga. I was looking for a soil recipe and found super soil I tried it and sold all my herb faster than ever. Had so many people say it was the best they ever had. Subs gear works very well in ss. I felt so behind I read and read to catch up on strains and nutes and I exceeded my own hopes good luck to all. I am trying to go west, but am waiting to buy a ranch in colo. Maybe Ned also. Love Colorado so many cool people, close to home for me. Peace

i voted jtr. its the only tga strain that i was able to finish. and once i smoked it, i kept it going( had 2 knock outs from 1 hit bong rips...me and a old bro and i mean...hit the ground blacked out for a sec or 2)now we are light weights, mexican brick weed is all we have here. i have a five pack of vortex that i will be running next, thou it will be awhile, because of wife issues. in the mean time, i keep up-grading my cab.

Has anybody had the Qrazy train? Was looking to choose between JB or the QT for my next grow, any suggestions?
I grew Qrazy Train this year... I've gotten two huge plants with it....About 8 foots all around height, and width. Crazy large plants with massive colas all over it. Only problem is the big dense buds if you are near moist environment. Even though TGA says mold resistant, which I believe it is, sever moisture is going to be problems either way. Im harvesting now just because some of the large buds have the beginnings of slight rot. Super dense large buds and super crystaled. All and all Ive liked growning Qrazy Train... pretty hardy plant indeed.

Have the same issue with Querkle at the moment. Very moist and sticky buds on the most indica-dom pheno. It has barely rained at all here this year, but I'm clipping bud rot out on the bigger colas (actually just took off the top two branches and main colas). A great plant, but can be prone to mold, even without much rain.

Chernobyl! Plants dank tastic great producer high yields of potent bud. Space bomb is ok but the high is nothing comparitively.

I've got some Jillybean Growing in a swamp along with a pandora's box and they can get bud rot easily, its such a pain in the ass.
i haveplanted jilybean many times, was raining the whole season never got bud rot. the only strain so far that was full of resins even without flowering. saved a size of a finger nail till i find a better bud

I started some TGA Subcool seedlings. One of each due to plant limits. 3D, Qleaner, Plushberry, Vortex. At least one of those will be a male and i'll use it to breed with the others. Gotta love TGA Subcool genetics, especially Vortex, Querkle, Flav, JillyBean. Such Awesome highs. My favorites.

great thread. jillybean is on my shortlist of strains to try for it's laugh your ass off euphoria, but would like to hear some detailed smoke reports from everyone that's grown any of his gear. i keep seeing vortex mentioned everywhere, but can't wrap my head around it's "baby poo" product description. it sounds as vile as catpiss & diesel which ARE very nasty to me

after reading about these strains and trying to narrow it down to one choice i decided pick and mix and get one of em all is the only way to go. they all sound so damned good you cant choose just one.

i'm thinking i WON'T be trying jillybean afterall. i remember exactly why i've never been interested in it before... it has romulan it it, romulan is a stinky plant & i don't like stinky. i immediately cut down both hashberry & ice castle for stinking my room up & wouldn't buy a strain i know has a lineage based on stinky strains like AK-47 or OG kush.

Vortex smells depend on what you feed it, that can determine the smell of your pheno alot, i've gotten some to smell like pineapples, others to mangoes and most recently ive had one smell like rose and lemon. Jillybean is my favorite tga plant to grow, because it has incredible vigor and takes training well, smells like citrus orange and fruits, some smell like candy.\

the baby poo smell os of the plant, a cured jar would probably resemble a rotting fruit odor once ready (4 weeks cure).

LOL ! OK don't 'cause she definetly smells..... like a bowl of mango, pineapple & orange fruit salad.
well that's not so bad. fruit & floral are definitely STEALTH odors. skunk? definitely not. the impression i got of romulan from some description was that odor control is DEFINITELY needed. as there are many great strains that don't need odor control, in fact the best ones don't as far as i'm concerned as IBL sativas don't skunk, just afhgani & it's crosses, i'll stick to stuff that doesn't reek of roadkill. if you can GUARANTEE that jillbean isn't going "stink like weed" and advertise my grow, i'll reconsider it.

as to rotting fruit... i'm just not down with that. i'll take the FRESH GRAPES taste of super cali haze over that any day. i'm a supertaster, so even mild funk doesn't agree with me. long before i learned that farms started recycling beef & turning cattle cannibal, i started tasting a nasty iron flavor in beef the rest of my family couldn't. i flat out despise the vulgar taste of diesel so many others think is delicious. maybe you just have to be a gear head to appreciate that nasty shit.

i'd rather smoke something flavorless & that tastes like cardboard than something nasty. even lavender rubs me the wrong way. it really does taste like flowers, but in a sickeningly sweet soapy way like when someone is wearing so much perfume you start to taste it. if someone came up with a peach or raspberry tasting strain, i wouldn't touch that either.

i guess variety literally is the spice of life.
