Which pH EC monitor?

I have two Rez, 50 gallon for veg and 100 gal for flower. I'm hoping to upgrade to a 200 gal soon. But anyways...

I'm sick of using the ph/ec pens n buying batteries n calibrating them and my favorite, dropping my phone in the rez LOL (just got a waterproof phone because of this haha)

So.... I was going to get a six in one monitor that has a digital display but I found several models, one for $64 and another for $32 which is a 2 in 1 only.

So I know I would be better just paying the $130 (but I'm kind of cheap atm because I just spent about $1,000 on new nutes, bulbs n filters) so I was thinking getting one of each but I don't want to waste a $35 on a piece of junk

So if anyone has any experience with these please let me know how they preform.

I'll attach pics of them, along with some flower porn lol....

Thanks guys!

I bought the Bluelab ph/ppm probe set yesterday and couldn't be happier.

The cost stung a bit but hey, life goes on, and full articulation of pH and ppm is as essential as air and water.

I'd be reluctant to buy something like this used. It's sensitive precision equipment with multiple failure points. There is zero protection buying used. Suck it up and swallow a new one!

Or try the cheaper one and let us know how it is!

they have a 5 year warranty. As most controllers and equipment do. If the probe malfunctions you would get a new one. It was made in 12/2015. He said he used for 4 months which is one or two grows. I got him down to $100. I dunno. I do prefer to buy new so I think I'm going to get the black one for my veg room and then get the blue lab for my flower room. If I have any issues I can just exchange it for a new one as I've done with ballast with Sunlight Supply. Also Ive actually bought ballast in bulk from the police, pretty funny when you think about it. I got 6 quantum's for $150 and they smelled like dry sift LOL plus eBay offers a money back guarantee

It is expensive but it will save you from losing all tge time money and effort spent, the blue lab guardian is worth every penny. I've had mine for over 3 years and still going strong.
A month ago I thought the EC calibration was messed up when i checked my RO water. So a went ahead (again despite how expensive it is) and ordered another one on amazon. When i got it, IT made me realize my RO filter needed replaced and that nothing was wrong with my 3 year old guardian...so what did i do with the one i bought and dont need at the moment??? Nothing .... keeping it for (in case!)
Dont make $ off them lol .... just really believe in a good lil gadget!
Happy huntin for the right one bro

Dumbass? A bit strong considering I was joking but whatever. Wasn't me who wrote it poorly.

No problem, i put them on CL today.

The blue labs will last forever... the PH probe will need to be replaced.. sometimes they last a year, sometimes 3. if under a year they will give you a new one. The best part is the lights flash when they need to be calibrated.
