Which pot/planter is best?

I was using 5 gallon fabric pots and started to notice some white mildew at the top (on the inside of the pot along the surface of the soil). I'm not sure if this is something to worry about? I'm debating on switching to air pots but one of the reviews states that soil constantly falls out the holes...has anyone used these before?

Is it actually mildew or salt build up? I hate the air pots.

I love cloth pots, only downside is watering slower.
But I have seen and heard good things about those air pots. Never used them though, don't like the price.

Can someone please help me out my plant is one week into flowering today i saw a root out the bottom and yellowing in my leaves does this mean it is root bound and should i transplant it or not?
i have uploaded a few pictures

Your pics or story don't say where it's yellowing. You don't say what kind of container.

it's a 4 gallon clay pot and sorry for the picture quality but if you zoom you'll be able to tell

Actually I can't with the blurple but with your container rootbound is a definite possibility. Leaf edges? Maybe phosphorus deficiency or nitrogen burn.

In that pot it's possible . Use grow bags next time. 5 gallon minimum.

I would transplant . Possibly why it's deficiency.

oh and i forgot to mention it's an auto and is transplant alright in flower?

The color and texture makes me think it’s salt buildup, but I was doubting myself since it’s at the top of the pot. I wish I took some picture before I washed it.

Yea, I feel the same way about price. I think it’s around $30 for a single 5 gallon
