mine was big buddas mate it had no blue in it and it stank to high heaven every1 loved it down my way but i wasn't a fan it had great bag appeal and was lovely smoke and stone it just wasn't to my personal taste, i really think you need a proper filter i wouldn't have it in my house growing again period when you smell it in flower you'll know what i mean it reaks i didn't tell my mates i was growing but they turned up at my house out of the blue to kidnap me to go on the beer and a couple of them knew instantly and they commented on how bad it smelled by the front door honestly mate it stinks blatantly, if i was a fan i'd grow it all the time because of the bag appeal and stink

no mate invest in a proper 1 it don't take long for the smell to get overpowering on the crop i got now they were smelling in veg and they're already getting stinky only 3wks into 12/12

i cant find any hydro stores locally and the once my grower goes to is all the way in bloody manchester, ive got the barneys farm version which i hear is more bluberry like, ill be keeping the window open, the room where the wardrobe is is upstairs front room, would people still be able to smell it or would it just disappear out the window?

i wouldn't do it mate i think your asking for problems i had a tent in an upstairs spare bedroom with the window open during lights on at night but i had negative pressure so air was getting sucked into the tent and the only air escaping was via the carbon filter and it still stank the house out i can't grow in my house now because of it. think about every time you open a door down stairs or a window the smell will travel through out the entire house and then start making it's way through the walls and out of any gaps around the windows and doors, even if you were lucky and the smell did go out of the window some1 would smell it honestly mate i didn't think they'd smell as bad as they do but they really do stink, i think if you were to try that down my way you'd be locked up very quickly, visit that growroom your mate got going and see for yourself it's unreal mate

if i do it outdoors will there still be a smell? ive been in many a grow room and believe me, blu cheese is one of the stinkiest strains, one time i had to help my grower with clipping a crop and when he opend the door the smell was so strong it literally pushed us a few steps back, they took fkin forever to dry. the scissor hash was some of the best ive ever had, really stinky stuff, but i thought that seein as it wasnt the real blu cheese it would smell alot less whilst retaining some of the amazing qualitys of the real thing. is LSD a stinky strain because ill be growin that aswell.

yes outdoors still smells hardcore.

especially if you have a stinky strain.

I've walked down the street in late august and smelled skunky bud . . . . from one of my neighbors growing.

fuck, my boy has a carbon filter in the greenhouse, i really wanna do indoors, heres the strains i hope to grow:

super lemon haze
purple haze
pineapple express
blu chese
lsd
super silver cheese
northern lights

are these stinky strains?

just an FYI, indoor bud always smells more intense than outdoor. so I don't think you'll have NEARLY as much smell to deal with.

those strains may stink a lot, the NL will stink if it takes after the skunky afgan side of it, don't konw much about the other strains so can't tell you anything there.

oh good, will the carbon filter and open window reduce the odor greatly and most importantly be undetectable from outside?

it wont be a strong skunky smell hopefully . . . most of the time it'll have like a breezy smell that wont attract attention . . . .
just make sure you dont disturb them too much with the wind or whatever . . . . . carbon filter will help.

yh i am putting in a pc fan as an exhaust, i could just put a zen over that, also put tape around the door to keep it airtight(my grower does it in houses smelling too much) it will be rather cold by the time they reach flower, around 8-9 outside 15-16 in our house.

that's the general rule, grow the same strain indoors, it will smell more.

grow the same strain outdoors, it'll have a mild smell, most potent when the bud is squeezed . . . .

I'd go for it if I were you.

so what exactly is pineapple express like? something tells me it's an indica dom hybrid . . . but maybe it leans on the sativa side? do you know it's lineage?

well the genetics are kind of unknown, however from experience i think it has some hawaiin sativa with a afghany indica crossed with a few diff sativa/indica hybrids. just a guess tho.
