Which strains really grow low odor?

I heard Northern Lights is a low odor strain so I tried it. Its NOT low odor while growing especially during flower. Are there any strains out there that actually need no odor control while growing? Im not asking hear say either, Im asking for actual people that have grown a strain and thought, "wow, I dont smell shit"

I want good plants but the smell is crazy!
 
i've grown nl once, growing a 2nd time, and the odor is REAL low
i've seen both stories, some get smelly phenos, some don't
i got my nl#5 from highgrade-seeds, this strain is real low odor
a little bit in veg, then just goes away during flower
just stepped into my grow area, just a slight smell of something, but not weed
no odor control, also growing a jock horror, jury is still out on that one

Northern lights IS a low odor strain. I'm not sure what you want or growing. ALL marijuana plants have some odor but unless your 15 and growing in your parents house, NL is the plant you want.

Ever heard of a scrubber???
my friend has AK-47 acouple weeks into flower and it stinks, but outside his grow tent you can't smell anything.
 
Hmm maybe it could be the White Widow and Pineapple Express that has been flowering for only a month? I know the Northern Lights did smell though. Maybe I'll just drop the WW and PE after this grow and go crazy with Northern Lights. I bought the NL strain from a company Im not really happy with though so maybe its a bad pheno or something.......

Watch the temps. Anything is gonna stink at higher temps. I kept the temps in the room at about 70, with the plant top temps no higher than 85. Almost no odor with a JHxViking.
Let the temps creep up, and you'll know it!!
 
the NL im growin right now has really low order. i put it inside my closet in my room during night cycle and my room doesnt smell at all. its on day 30 of flower.

White Rhino can be grown both indoors and out. Be sure to take caution with odor control, since this plant is known for it's strong, potent smell. White Rhino can also be grown under extreme conditions. It works well in both ideal climates and cold and wet ones. A great first time plant.
 
th seeds s.a.g.e. is a great low odor plant. smells great when you touch it or get near it, but i dont need a carbon filter for it yet. it is a beautiful flowering plant too. it is oozing sugars and sweetness. i highly recommend s.a.g.e.

i wish you could smell this picture. smells so much like sweet grapefruit it makes you want to eat it

they have just started to "bulk" up in size now. until now the buds were small and tight, but now the final phase growth is starting which is typical of sativas. can't wait to see how much they blow up.
 
as some others have mentioned, temps are a big deal with odor
i turned down the temps in growing room, and thus lowered the temps in my grow chamber to the low 70's
my low odor northern lights has just become no odor northern lights, just like turning the 'odor knob' to the off position
 
the temps in my tent with the (2) sage and (1) sage n sour are upper 80's to mid 90's and still doing good on the low odor

i have been happy about that
 
but does funk = potency?

it would be nice though to find a low odor strain so i could get free heat in the winter from my lights and turn off the furnace.
 
You wont find a strain that has no odor, you will need a carbon filter with a low odor strain if you want no smell. The lowest odor strains I have encountered are nirvana NL and PPP.
