Whats up guys.. I'm currently on my 1st grow and already planning for my 2nd.
Right now I have 1 plant that i accidentally topped and it split into four, one plant that looks like a x-mas tree, a clone i just stuck in there which is just growing one fat cola and some others.
I have a 1000 watt high pressure sodium and I'm wondering how many plants should I do and what method? For the longest time i've wanted to do SeaOfGreen but now I'm starting to think it might be extra work and I might have better results with another method.
I know you could probably stick like 10 full plants under a 1000 watt but I've been thinking of just making 5 healthy plants and topping them so they each have 4 colas. That way I will have a total of 20 fat colas with more than sufficient light. The plant that I have right now with 4 colas is so nice.. it by far has the fattest buds right now and there's 4 of them. So what do you guys think, keep in mind im looking for quantity and not quality. Does 5 plants sound like a good number for 1000 watt and should i top to get 4 colas and if I do top them this way should i let the bottom grow or should I make a little Sea of Green with the 20 colas.
Im kinda confused also where to cut when topping for 4 cola buds. The first time I did it was by accident so I don't really know how to do it. Uncle ben says cut the stem above the 2nd true node.. but where is that?
