Hi there, I am going to be doing my first grow soon. However i am a bit stuck as to what will give me the highest yield. 24 6.5 litre pots or 8 11 litre pots with an additional 6 in an aqua tray? Thanks

Your pots need about a gallon per foot for flowering. So if you anticipate a five foot plant get 6gallong pots. & high yields mostly depend on your lights.

So if you need 1 gallon for every foot with a 6.5 litre pot they will only grow about 18 inches? 11 litre pot would be 2.5 feet?

during the flowering stage your plant might hit a growth spurt & it may start to grow wild. Especially a sativa strain. The more growth it encounters the bigger the roots are. Roots spread out that's what they do best & if they get cramp your plants growth will be slowed down. I use 7gallon pots for a plant that is only about 4 & a half feet tall. More dirt space the more comfortable your plants roots are.

7 gallons is about 30 litres. So i could get about 4 of em, would that be the best producer then? Also, i wont be using dirt I would using hydro.....

alot better. You can use the small pots if you plan to flower early. All up to you. As long as your plants have plenty of root room.

it totally depends on what type of grow your doing bro... if your doing SOG go smaller pots. im personally testing the root myth i have 4 6in pots and 4 10in pots both vegged and flowered the same going to see what yields me more...
