White hairs an a smell of skunk after just 3 weeks

help its my first time growing, my plants are 3 weeks under light at 18/6. An are getting white hairs an are starting to smell. Is this normal or have they started to flower to early. They are only about 6" tall.

could be some kind of auto mutant , that could flower at around 3 weeks of veg

but even a runt that is normal photo period could show pre flowers at 4 weeks, but i would expect it to have some branching, not just a stick

Ok thanks guys, after looking into it they are auto flowering critical seeds. I have 5 of them but they are so small, I can't see anything good coming from them. I may ditch them an consentrate on the 1 widow plant I have with them at same age.

That is a good idea, you could also get yourself some fem seeds that are not autos
something sativa dom and do a 12/12 from seed, you can put them in with your widow plant as soon as they germinate
and they will still get pretty big, if you choose something like blue cheese or amnesia haze or any large sativa dom with a big stretch
