photo 3.jpgphoto 2.jpgphoto 1.jpgHello,
I'm 3 weeks into flower i am starting to notice white mold on lower leaves should I start over? or can an anti fungal fix the problem?
room temp is 72 day and night and humidity is 62% and i cant get it to go down. This is my 3rd medical grow and i have never had this problem but this is my first time using led lights as i was having a heat issue with hid in my space. Also looking for info on a anti fungal i have read about a baking soda mix and also a garlic mix if you know about them and the pros and cons your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
HG

Milk and water will work but is only a bandaid. You need to get that humidity down, how's the exhaust on the room?

That is likely, (though you post no picture,) powdery Mildew. Or Powder Mold. And that attracts aphids on my roses.

I have heard the enzymes in Skim Milk will take care of it. I haven't tried, however.

I have a 3'x2'x4' cabinet with a 4 inch inline fan with carbon in the upper right corner with a 6 inch hole in lower left with hepa filter. I do have a speed control on fan and it is all the way on low. The RH in my house is 52% and like i said 62% in box. i have one small fan inside moving air around.

Get a dehumidifier. Btw if u got mold on it it ain't medical grade. You can't have high humidity.

Carbon scrubbers can get clogged at 65+% humidity. My guess is it's absorbing too much moisture and or already has promoting improper air circulation causing the pm issues.

just went through that man and it was a bullshit battle cause i was scrogged anyhow after trying milk and a bunch of other stuff i gave up cause the buds never got bigger and the fan leaves all died little by little ... thinking back i wish i never wasted my time trying to fight it cause i lost so much time and coulv been harvesting again by now... anyhow i week three on my next grow and no signs of it if u start fresh make sure you drench everything and clean well!!

As mentioned, you don't want a bandaid solution to a very serious issue. I'm with alwaysgreen420...get a dehumidifier if can't get the humidity under control any other way.

if you bump up the room temps it will make it harder for mold spores to take hold. mold likes cool and humid conditions. remove those lower leaves they are gonna die anyway. that will improve air circulation under the canopy also. if you want to go organic with a fungicide, mix up a worm castings tea and spray on upper and lower leaf surfaces. idk what to say if you want to use a chemical fungicide. if it was my plant i certainly wouldn't use it. however in veg it doesn't pose much of a problem.
