Ok so recently I added a sugar/water/yeast CO2 bottle to my bloom and veg rooms. I now have this whitish mold building up on the soil. It hadnt occured before I added the CO2 bottle. Anyone help me out with an explanation of what it is? and why it occured and how I can fix it?
I basically scraped a 1/4 inch of soil off the top layer of the the pots. Other then that I have no clue what to do about it.
For my 2nd question.
I had to stop growing a few years ago and recently started up again. I ordered some fem seeds and started mothering n cloning for my bloom room. Everything was going well. About 2 months ago a friend of mine reminded me that they had seeds of mine in their freezer still. The seeds were 2 regular sets of 10. Mighty Mite and Purple Lightning.
The seeds were stored together in the original packaging and in a tupperware container in the freezer. I started 2 of each seed. The PL were both females and seem to have great genes as both are thick with healthy growth.
The MM on the other hand.......Both seeds I sprouted stunted severely and were male.
I immediately put the other 8 seeds of MM down. 6/8 germinated. But they all look eerily similar after 2 weeks to the original male stunting bitches.
Is this just a bad batch of seeds? The first 2 PLs i dropped are in AMAZING healthy condition, so Im lead to believe that it wasnt the storage of the seeds that was an issue. It seems more like they just sent me a shitty set.
That being said , the frustration of the situation made me go and by more seeds anyways...I got my order a few days ago , ata tundra , super lemon haze , super skunk , euphoria , trainwreck , Afghani#1 , LSD and alaskan ice and they came today!!!!!!!
Any help on my questions would be greatly appreciated
