but Im in the same boat with you man. Im running on fumes and have only had some schwaggy barely green bud from last year that Im having to ration. haha it fucking kills me lookin at all these trich'd out buds just calling my name and not being able to smoke them yet. but like you said man, we're almost there

well, to be honest I have a really hard time articulating smells into words. I wish you could just smell the picture of the nugs!
the hash plant is kind of perfume smelling in a way, I dunno its hard to say cause they all have been hanging for 2 days so they have that drying smell right now. maybe by the time they are dried and cured I will be able to put it into words better.

How you cure and store your product will have the biggest influence on taste and smell, great job on the garden!

Hanging Jack Herer and a tiny Hash Plant plant. The Hash Plant is on the far left. the untrimmed buds on the right are whats left of the Jack to trim. not bad for my smallest plant in the garden. This is all personal nug right here. gonna try to save it for a long time since I got the clones from my neighbor who passed.
I dont understand why some people have problems with curing and drying. It always comes out smelling dank for me.
Sometimes I use the paper bag method. sometimes just jars. this year maybe rubbermaids. either way it already smells fire and it just finished hanging...

I'm just noticed this bud, gonna leave it like that till it drys and smoke it like that. these native dudes I know purposely break all there buds and let them hang like that to make it 'danker'. I think that's total bullshit but just figured might as well compare before talking trash. hehe.

It got super hot in my garage today cause it's fucking 90º again so I took down the jack and hash plant and put them in jars and brought them it. im just gonna leave the jar open a day and then start curing them as they are already getting nice and crispy on the outside.
I cut up the cola of the jack because I was afraid of mold, glad I did cause i found a few tiny spots and cut them out. here's the cola cut up and jarred.
about 1/4 of the Jack wasn't trimmed yet and not really dry enough to go in the jar so I'm just going to paper bag cure it until i get it trimmed and into jars.

Those lil branches will mend with literally a thread of life left. It's pretty cool to watch something heal and start growing again like that. This happened to one of my blue dreams around week 4 of flowering now it's[sort of] an upside down bud

Cut down one of my purple elephant/satori's and all the main buds are hanging. left a few bottom branches on to see if they would plump up a bit as I pulled this plant slightly immature so I could ge t a head start on trimming. gonna mix it all in with the other elephant satori when it's all done. looking really nice though.
The Lime Trainwreck is in the curing jars now and smelled amazing before even going in. looks like indoor it's so nice. I wish my whole garden was this lime trainwreck,it blows my jack herer and hash plant right out of the water. hopefully when my satori hybrids go another 2 weeks they will start looking just as amazing as the wreck.
Also trimmed up all the side garden plants. the lavender/satori was super airy and I left it kinda leafy and I think I will just use as joint weed. it's still some super dank though it just never got light really while growing so the nugs didn't dense up. if I jar this up though and save it for a few months I will be stoked as fuck that I at least have something organic and crystally to be puffing on.
The last hash plant in the side garden was getting really bad caterpiller damage all of a sudden the last couple day. I haven't finished pulling that whole little plant but it smells amazing still and will be some really dank little airy buds that will roll killer joints.
The purple kush/skunk#1 didn't yield very much either and was pretty airy like everything else in the side garden. still smells great though and all in all the side garden succeded in what I made it for. to salvage whatever bud I could from the clones that couldn't fit in my garden! better than just throwing them/giving them away like I originally planned!
The first cali orange I pulled was the one that was totally hidden in the front of the garden. looks like it will yield about as much as an auto-flower. haha. pretty funny seeing it grow next to monsters the whole year. still super dank little buds even though they recieved pretty much no light.
Hoping it doesn't rain for a couple more weeks as the lavender/satori looks like it has about 2 weeks left and is starting to get spots of mold in the bigger buds. im staying vigilent and cutting them out as I see them but it breaks my heart to chop apart beautiful cola's. it doesn't help having to continue spraying BT now that I saw the hash plant infested I know they are out in full force. the side garden never once got BT though so I think my main garden is almost 100% 'pillar free. I did forget to spray for about a week though but after hitting them pretty hard again 2 days ago they are still showing no signs of the little bastards.
When I get access to the digi-cam later I will add photo's to this update so you guys can get an idea of what's going on. the buds should be pretty impressive after not seeing them for over a week. next year I'm going to do a few more early plant's so I can get a better jump-start on harvest. it sucks having all your plants in the ground when people are all ready selling 10 packs and shit. oh well I know mine is something unique and wont be premature or improperly dryed/cured!
