White rhino and s.a.g.e. n' sour grow

i cut the one rhino down. it turns out my ph meter was junk from day 1. when i got it my tap water tested around a 9.0 . its really around 7.0 . so there was a 2 point difference since i went to a full hydro system. i have no idea how anything ever survived from grow #1 till now. i've only recently switch to humboldt nutrients. turns out i don't even need ph down since most of their stuff lowers the ph anyways. i changed the res for the 6th week feeding and after mixing it up the ph was at 5.2 . i made quick reference cards for the nutrient mix for each week. i hate pulling out the chart and calculating the mix.. so i just have to find the card for the week i'm on and there is no mistakes. same h20 amount and same nutrient mix. its late, but i'll try to get some bud shots up tomorrow.

sorry Revolution101... there will be buds shots up tonight. i've been busy as hell, and making updates in the most boring stage of growth (germ to clone and drying) seems kinda silly to me.. haha. currently doing the final pruning. i lost 2 of the 3 white rhinos in flower. the 3rd only made it to day 50, but its still pretty decent smoke regardless. i have 3 seedlings growing. 2 sage n sours and 1 sage n sour x white rhino. i'm building my new flowering system. have to buy some new rubbermaid bins. i went a little too curvy on cutting holes for the netpots.. ha

here are the pics. dried weight was 51.4g .. eh at least i have something to smoke after the problems i had with this grow. changing to a new nutrient was a huge fuckup. i should have waited. in the future i will have to dilute the nutrients and really keep an eye on the ph. i'm not to happy with humboldt nutrients. if anyone has any info or tips on a feeding schedule besides the one on the humboldtnutrients.com site,i could use the help.

2 week rotation has begun. i had enough supplies to get 1 of the 4 drip systems running. i started 2 rhino mothers on a flowering schedule today. built a new self contained drip system. i've been growing for well over a year and a half and one thing i hate is cleaning hydroton. its seriously a fucking pain in the ass.. haha. so i'm going to order some new stuff: 4 zone drip manifolds, drippers, tubing. i think this is the easiest system to maintain. we shall see.. some new pics to check out.

quick update. got everything situated. i need to hit the hydro store to pick up a few odds and ends. other then that, its reading to rock. haha. i'm going to finished the other 3 tanks tomorrow. the plants in flower look good. i cleaned out the old supports and buckets from the closet. i might have to make a screen for each tank. since i'll be moving them a stationary trellis would be would be a pain in the ass, so i'm thinking about mounting 4 post to each container and cut some smaller sections or even look into some kind of metal fence. i'm just flushing the plants for now. then start on the bloom nutrients again and maybe a foliage spray. i have some free samples as well as that purple max. check out my little video.

looking good yet again. Gotta love the hydro. I really want to try it but I might have to move and moving a hydro set up would not be good for plants I don't think. Anyways, thanks for checking out my grow, I'll try to get some new pics on it soon.

glad to see your back. i'll have an update in a few days. got some new goodies. a dual diaphragm air pump. water pumps.. .25 and .5 in tubing, drippers and more airstones. i'm going to try and get a couple more "pods" ready. clones are still alive and the mother is recovering. i had a little scare tho, the timer for the water pump in the flower area went wacko so when i cam home late from work they were drooping.. been about 5 days and the one is ok but the other is still recovering. oh well.

i plan to take some new pics in a day or so. i was cleaning out the flowering area and the planter fell when i was scrubbing it. being in the light for a year made it pretty brittle. it cracked of course so i put something together temporarily. i made a weak nutrient solution and added the 3 seedlings on to the drip lines. i lost one of the six clones, but the other five look good. probably transplant them to larger cube in a week, then cut more clones from the mother.

nah.. the plant was safe when the tub fell. i'm now using the smaller tub i had in the closet when it was my flowering area. seedlings are showing roots in the big cubes. i will transplant the clones in the aerocloner into larger cubes tonight and upload some pics. the mothers in flower have tight node development. i used the purplemaxxx for the first week or so.. misting every 4 days. curious to see if there is a color change or not.. probably not.. haha
