White Seeds

I have acquired some seeds but they are white. I figured they weren't mature but I tried to germinate a few of them anyways and they didn't work. So to mature them what do I do just lay them out in the sun, right? How long do you think it will take, I'd like to plant them soon. Thanks

Hey grower, White seeds are a sign that they did not mature.
maturation takes place during the budding of the female plant.
once the seeds are harvested they stop maturing.

In the future try to find seeds that are dark, hard, mottled, striped.
they won't all have all of these characteristics but look for seeds
with tan/dark contrasting color variations
these are the signs of mature seeds.

Nobody starts out as an expert you learn as you go,
now get out there and get some tiger striped, or turtle shell looking
seeds.

sorry man i didnt mean that. i just get tired of answering questions you can look up in a sec on google
I did look it up and I read that if you have white seeds to put them under a fluorescent light and they will turn dark green/brown. I know I can't germinate them when they are white. Alright thanks anyways guys I guess I'll have to get some better seeds.

Oh and one more thing. If my plants that are growing outdoors are tall but skinny that means they aren't getting enough light, right? I'm thinking about moving them.

Update on this: Well I figured I would try and germinate the seeds anyways (I got them for free). And I figured out of about 35 of them that maybe 1 or 2 would possibly germinate. If not then I didn't loose anything. So after a day I look at them and they went from tan/off white to dark green, some are even dark brown. How can they change color like this? All I did was have them in a moist paper towel inbetween plates. Is there any chance they might germinate? And to clarify they weren't actually "white" they were tan or off white. Thanks
