White Slime on roots with pic +rep for help

I would rinse the roots really well and try to get all the gunk and dying roots out of there, then run some h202, or other sterilizing agent for about 12 hours. Then I would innoculate with beneficial microbes and ensure proper res conditions. Then I would go back in time and tell myself to do this months ago.

Wow bro you should clean out your grow room/ resivores. Im running a chiller + 35% H2O2 with the occasional Sm-90 in my main grow op and havent seen root rot or any form of algae in bout 11 months now. Just my lil set up at home where i don't have a chiller i barely ever run into these problem maybe one or 2ce a year.
 
i think my friend waterd it when he was drunk. it hasnt been the same since then. the rest of the grow has been going great, nothing has been diff except that. so thats my guess

it is possible that there was crap it w/e container he used w/e he used isnt what i usually use. but its just other then that i can think of anything i havent had much if any algae in the container since i started this plant, cept for now of corse

it is an interesting read, 40 bucks later & does he have a place to get these things, he's in flowering it needs fixed now, i bet he can find dirt. bleach is cheaper & it works!
I just don't think he wants' to piss around for 2 weeks and still have this problem so i suggested dirt. Algae will not live it he dark in dirt..period!

Np. Good luck,,, i am not discrediting Heisenberg's method, i can't i have never tried it. I can only comment on what has worked for me, and assuming i have a filthy grow room and non sterile equipment is crazy.
 
from what i understand about the tea is that it works really well to prevent the crap from growing but i may be missing somthing i didnt see where it says it cures my problem
 
it's simple, the pump is less than an air pump, the one thing ya really need is a cycle timer(some use regular 15/15), about 80 bucks, i bought mine used for 30. other than that some pvc & nozzles.

This is exactly how everything started in my system, I had the same thought, ohhh maybe the ph was low, was the water, ohh maybe is leaking light, let's flush again, 3 days after, fuck, they're back! Flush again, and there is the nasty shit again, roots started to get a little brown and then...Root rot. I had to fight this damn thing for weeks, using H202 every single day and almost half strength, so desperate I was at the end, that I actually dip the roots into half strength of H202. I could see the fuckers being fried, roots were being burned at the same time but I didn't give a fuck, or was the plants dying cause by root rot or by the h202. The only thing able to save my plants were Roots Excelurator together with Great White, I highly recommend.
