White spots

I have small white spots on my 1 week old seedling. I’m pretty sure it’s not mold as my rh is consistently 58-60, my temp is 75, and I have a small fan in conjunction with an exhaust fan. I have a good idea what it might be though. I have an ultrasonic humidifier and have been using tap water. I changed to ro today, so if it is mineral deposits, can that harm the plant? Has anyone else experienced this? I did give them a light mist to see if it washed off which I’ll check later. Thoughts?

Is your environment possibly dusty? Is your tent or equipment new? When I first set up my tent I wiped everything down but did not open up everything before I started my grow and I was battling dust that entire grow lol. As long as it’s not mold and not something that’s forming on the leaves you should be good

As far as I know it’s not dusty in there. I didn’t see the spots until after I added the humidifier. I did just check them after the misting and no more spots, so it did just wash off. So now I guess my specific question is, under the assumption it is just mineral deposits, is that possibly harmful? It may be moot with switching to ro, but I’m still curious. Thanks for the reply, cheers!

i agree with Grow So High when i first started my carbin fliter cover needed to be wacked out when things come from the factory it wont always be clean
and by the way stop missting your seedlings most water contains alot of crap so unless your using 0-ppm water don't misst i've stoped missting my plants like it alot more with just having a perfect HR level remember there young still so you don't need much to get them going
