Unfortunately the plants are in 100+ degree weather, although the humidity is 40% or less.
What is this and is there anything I should do before yanking plants.
Thanks for helping a novice.
I looked with Magnifier x60 and didn’t see anything. Was thinking maybe thrips.have you examined the top and underside with any magnification? If so, what was the magnification and what did you see?
Should I treat the plant?Does not look like PM . . .kind of looks like damage from thrips. The good news is that you are close to harvest. It takes a bit of time for those fuckers to tear shit up.
There wasn’t anything on the underside of leaves. At first I thought maybe it was pollen. The buds have stopped growing but the trichones are still crystal clear.Definitely too late to treat. If it was a severe outbreak, you could spray leaves, NOT THE BUDS, with Dawn dish soap and water to hold them off until you harvest. In your case I would let it ride. Did you look on the undersides of the leaves?
Actually looking again there’s a lot of small black dots on the underside of the leaves and one of the leaves has a very small web on itDefinitely too late to treat. I did with 60x and saw some blacks dots and also a small ‘web’.have you examined the top and underside with any magnification? If so, what was the magnification and what did you see?
Yeah that is actually gross! Luckily the plant that is close to harvest hasn’t had any webs on it... yet! My two other plants I’m more worried about now. I sprayed them with Insecticidal soap today hoping that will help. Being a first time grower there’s so much to learn. I should have been taking preventative measures all along.I tend to agree with colorado...let it ride for 2 weeks until harvest. I saw a vid of some guy that washed his harvested bud in a light hydrogen peroxide and water solution, followed by lemon juice and baking soda solution, then plain water, followed by drip dry, slow dry then cure. I don't know if I'd do that, but the flip side is smoking bud with dead bugs, bug shit and webs, which is not very appealing.
Coco. Preventative as you can get while not adding on more responsibilities especially being new.Yeah that is actually gross! I do appreciate the advice it helps me a lot. Thank you!
Use coco outside? My soil this try was a mixture of peat moss, compost, organic potting soil, perlite and vermiculite. Was ok but always looking for better ways.Coco. Preventative as you can get while not adding on more responsibilities especially being new.
Didn't know it was oitdoors, but if in pots you can still use coco. You just need nites for watering.Use coco outside? My soil this try was a mixture of peat moss, compost, organic potting soil, perlite and vermiculite. Was ok but always looking for better ways.
My grow space is small and the weather is blazing this time of year. Way over 100 although the humidity is usually low. My plants get about 4 hours of sun a day.
