White Walls or Foil?

flat white is good too.It has a good even light reflectivity so it bounces light back efficiently

how is it that flat white would reflect more than shinny white????
doesn't seem ligical

a gloss white will make hot spots and not reflective evenly so every imperfection in a non smooth surface causes uneven reflection and heat spots.A flat white like snow make s even layer of light reflection which is why you get a sun burn in the winter when on the sun

im in week two and 6inches just getting the second set of leaf two days ago...had em under 40w tube with 3400 lumens and 2900 kelvin and found out today lumens is for humans and k rating is for plants so i went back to get the 40w tube with 3050 lumens and 6500K...bluer light... also I do hang foil one piece that hangs around tube to the bottom of my 4in pots... looking up inside from the open sides as they are 5in from tube looks fantastic....the room temp is 78 to 80 and the leaf is green...I think for now foil is okay but as grow gets bigger im sure i'll change up ....
