New update time.
Flipped my light to 12/12 on Saturday 4th. Had a bit of an issue with humidity after flip so got some dehumidifier packs and defoliated as a lot of moisture buildup under highest leaves.
Moved around the pins I am using to LST to open up the plants a bit more. This also allowed me to take off the lowest growth that were yellowed or yellowing.
PPM is upto 700 range and have big bud coming in a few days.
My Big Bud arrived today. Exactly one week since flip and when it should be added according to advanced nutrients calculator.
New growth is a bit lighter than usual and noticed a fairly new fan leave begin yellowing and some yellowing tips. I think it could be potassium related but my run-off is getting upto 6.8/6.9PH which it has never been that high. Normally 6.5PH out with a little fluctuation and is between 5.8 and 6PH going in. Big bud is higher in K so may alleviate the issue but what do I know, trying to compare problems from pics on the net where several visual indicators could mean several different issues.
I started using Big Bud about two waters ago, April 2 and the watering yesterday. Today is week 8 in 12/12. The pics are today under the 1000W MH.
My Bluelab Conductivity Pen is a complete game changer. Before the pen my plants would look completely fried by week eight. In my mind's eye it would be a race watching the bud ripen and the leaves curl up in death trying to swallow the bud. Just look at how lush they are now.
Your plants are going to look nicer becasue you had a better handle on the process from the start.
I decided to stop using the micro nutrients. I wasn't confident they add much to our short-cycle crops. I ran this by the grow shop guy and he agreed.
The nutrient solution I'm using now is 8ml of the Grow, Micro and Bloom plus 5ml of the Big Bud per gallon of water and the EC is 1.6.
Your plants are looking awesome. No Gimp left behind.
Another chunk of time has passed. Not many pics taken but will date the ones not from today.
Things have been going smooth. Temps have been higher with the hot spring. Don't need additional heating even at night now.
Plants maturing differently, plant shown at front has the most dark hairs, one to the right is a little less and the one at the back less still. But the one at the back has the biggest buds so far. This is all in relation to pic of whole tent from today.
It's looking close and waiting on a loupe to start checking tricks. Hold of flushing for a bit until they are closer but hopefully only a few more weeks left to go.
